"Okay, were here." She waved her hands in front of her house, as if she was a magician.

I leaned against her door, resting my head upon it, looking at her fumble with her key into the door.

"I almost got, there we go!" She screamed.

I quickly covered her mouth with my hand, "Babe.... Were gonna get caught."

She nodded, and opened the door.

I turned on the light in the living room.

"Come on upstairs." She said softly.

"Are your parents home?" I asked, obviously knowing the answer.

"Nope. They left the day before yesterday." She started to frown.

"When are they coming back?"

Her eyes softened, "They went out to the states for this big investment. So maybe in three days."

Typical.

I closed the door behind me and went to the kitchen, "I'll be up in a bit. Mind setting me out my clothes for when I come up to change to?"

"Of course."

I opened up the mahogany colored cabinet, and grabbed a the biggest plastic cup I could find, and filled it up with ice and water from the outside of the fridge.

I grabbed it and made my way to Melody's room to find her in my Nirvana shirt, and her hair into a bun sitting on the bed waiting for me, next to my gray sweatpants.

I handed her the water in exchange for my sweats, and kicked off my converses.

I slid off my ripped black skinny jeans and white tee, into my sweats.

I sat down on the bed next to her.

She took a swig of water, and handed me the bottle of aspirin.

I opened it, taking out four capsules, swallowing it dry, and handing it back to her to sit on the night stand.

"Mel?"

"Yea?" She lied down on her side.

"Can I tell you something?"

She rolled over to look up at me.

"Of course Calum." She whispered.

"Even though your parents are barley here, and I know that, that they don't like me... Or even want me with you.... Just know that you'll always have me. No matter what. Okay?"

She looked up at me, with those sleepy intoxicated eyes, and smiled.

"I love you."

I lied down next to her, and kissed her forehead, "I love you too. Just get some sleep."

She nodded, and soon she was out.

I got up lightly and went to her desk and went inside her bottom drawer, and pulled out a green notebook I kept here countless nights to write in.

I like to write ideas and thoughts and reasons on why she's amazing.

Little memos that she has me, even when I'm not physically there at the moment.
