-Calum's POV

My legs had picked up the pace, I had finally made it home.

I slowed down, my breathing out of control, and my eyes irritated and still moist with tears.

Nobody was home, but I didn't want to go inside. I walked over to the side of the house, right underneath my window, and slid against the wall falling to the ground with my head in my hands.

"No, no, no, no,no...." I repeated to myself over and over again.

The tears were falling down all at once, like a cascading waterfall of constant hurt.

I stared at the patch of grass that was visible.

My head kept replaying Melody in that guy's embrace, and him calling her 'babe'.

Melody is my babe, not anyone elses..... So I thought.

How could she do this to me? To us?

Did I not make her happy anymore?

I shut my eyes tight, to void out everything.

The questions.

The playback.

The constant thud of my heart breaking .

And it eventually it worked.

                                ······

"I'm sorry Calum.... Its just, I'm sorry."

"Melody just tell me what it was, wasn't we happy?"

I looked at her face which had dried up make up streaks trying to look for any kind of emotion.

"Calum. I think you have to realize that things don't last forever."

"But we were. What about our plans? Our life together?" I walked closer to her.

" Calu-"

"So that what we had was just a lie?" My voice broke even more.

I looked at her with pleading eyes, but hers adverted to another direction, to which soon emerged the guy she was with.

"Hey babe, ready to go?"

"Luke, go back to the-"

"So the girlfriend stealer has a name?!"

"Calum calm down!"

"Calm down? Your telling me to calm down?!"

I was uproared.

I walked back and forth, til I couldn't take it any more.

So I did what was best for me.... I ran off again, but this time it was into a darkness and this time, I didn't care where I ran.
