The Valley of the Portal

Final Chapter

You and I Forever

Clara was still in front of door and felt a quite a bit nervous. The soft breeze waved her short dress and messed up her hair. Two weeks had gone since she returned from Salt Lake and had been intensive to deal with people, especially her hysterical mom beyond the ghosts of captivity.

Lottero and Paul started to search for information about secrets entities that could be elaborating plans to raise or create a possible new strain as those strangers have said to Rico. Loads of work would be done from this point and many things have to be studied. Actually, people from Valley were sort of excited about it.

She and Rico didn't have time to themselves. Her boyfriend showed very understanding in their few hours together and just three days ago they really got to talk each other very seriously about their lives together.

Rico wasn't totally convinced of reactions of onyx had even stopped, but he was sure it had found the properly space at Clara's body and there wasn't doubt that the stone has adapted very well to animist power.

Anyway, nothing could be done to keep him far from Clara and live again all that hell he went through when they were apart. So, they matched to be attentive to get any different reaction could cause damage to her and if something else happened they would work together to solve.

They have decided to take each day as it comes and it meant that they had chosen each other forever no matter which difficulties they could face.

Clara had a serious conversation with her parents and it wasn't an easy one, but she had to let them know about her choice and that was a very important indeed. It was hard to them to accept that their little girl was a woman right now and was able to decide for herself. She belonged with Rico and would be of him. No more questioning about it.

Initially they were shocked before her decision, but first minutes gone, they took a seat and heard her point of view and had nothing to do but accept it. After all they were linked each other vitally and any other connection would be just a complement.

Clara felt happy to get her parents comprehension and even they'd rather that she waited for a little bit more, the girl knew would be hard to control her hormones and Rico's as well. They wouldn't bear even a kiss without to explode their wills furiously.

And so, there she was. Rico had said it would be an unforgettable day for them both and Clara was ready for him.

When the door was opened, Rico guessed nothing could be more beautiful than her image stand up on his balcony lighted up for the red sun at nightfall. He stretched his hand and their fingers entwined. There was a shy smile in her face who eyed at him fascinated. In love couples were all like that. They had a unique look that just they could explain.

The whole house was smelled nice and loads of flowers decorated the place. There was music and the environment was ready to that special occasion.

Rico wrapped her waist and leaned his forehead against her. So, he spoke gently.

"Since I have met you I try to understand what has happened to me. I try to deal with each new feeling that was born in my heart of the best way. But the truth is I didn't get to figure out them properly for a while, until I found out that all the inner fuss was about to be completely in love with you."

He sighted and added. "So, when we were apart I knew the pain and when you vanished I knew the despair. After, when we made up I knew the hope and believe me Clara, I wouldn't know how to live without it anymore. I wouldn't know how to live without you."
