When they arrived at the Corn Palace, Logan was the only person thrilled enough to stay and explore. He circled around in awe with Daysi right behind him. "Wow...It's really all corn?"
"Yes, Logan. Everything is made of corn." Daysi watched Logan with an amused expression.
Arielle rubbed her temples and sighed. "So people actually spent money on this place.\, and it's famous? Ridiculous." Chad put his arm around Arielle hoping to make her feel better.
"Come on, one tour. Logan's enjoying himself." When the two looked over at Logan and Daysi, they resembled two puppies roaming an unfamiliar territory. They were as cheery and happy as toddlers. Arielle and Chad shared a laugh, and followed Daysi and Logan through the "palace".

After hitting the gift shop, they were all back in the car on their way to Falls Park. Logan sat in the front still full of enthusiasm. "GUYS LOOK AT ALL THIS CORN STUFF. CAN YOU BELIEVE IT???." Chad cassually burst into laughter, but Arielle and Daysi had already began to tear up in the back seat. Logan had everything from corn flavored gum to a bobble head shaped into a corn husk. After wiping her tears, Arielle propped herself forward to speak to Chad.
"How much longer until we get to the park?" It was around 6PM, and the sun was still high in the sky. It was summer time, so the sun wouldn't set until 9PM. Chad checked the time before setting his full attention back onto the road.
"About an hour or two."
Daysi popped up from the back seat and locked fingers with Logan. "Just enough time for a picnic dinner!" Logan looked dazed, but happy.
"And we could have corn pudding for dessert!" Logan raised his pack of yellowish goop. Daysi sat back in her seat as her stomach lurched.
"I think I'll pass on dessert." Arielle laughed and kissed Chad on the cheek before sitting back to chat with Daysi.

Post arrival, the sun had begun to sink, and the sky went from cool blues to warm hues of yellow and orange.
Arielle was the first to hop out the car and outstretch her arms."Mmmmmm. " She closed her eyes and took a deep breath. "Now this should definitely be famous."
Heading towards the park and out of the parking lot, the view was spectacular. Trees patched the area with surrounding grass and flowers. Everything was quiet except for the sound of rushing water. Not only were there rivers, but there were mini waterfalls. Waterfalls. After they used every possible synonym of pretty to describe the scenery, they found a nice spot to sit, eat, and chat.
"So how long have you two been living together?" Arielle asked questions while popping grapes into her mouth only wanting Logan to answer. He rarely talked, and when he did, it was either funny or surprising. Despite that fact, Daysi answered her question.
"It's been six months." Daysi was cutting apples into bunnies and Logan was scowling at his corn pudding.
"You'd think something so expensive would taste better." Logan threw away the pudding, and began inhaling the apples.
"HEY!" Before Logan could finish the last apple, Daysi snatched it out of his hand. "At least save me one." They fought over the last piece until they agreed on going half and half. "How about you two?"
