"Mom?" Christian sat on the couch upside down with a book to his chest.

"Yes dear?" Daysi sat next to her youngest child with her nose in her own book sitting all up right and proper.

Christian fixed his position and adjusted his glasses. "Does Katniss love Peeta AND Gale?"

An answer required Daysi's full attention, so she closed her book and set it to the side. Swinging her legs onto the couch, she turned to face her son. At the age of eleven, he was already five feet. He'd definitely be taller than Daysi in the future. "Depends on what book you're on."

        "The second one."

Daysi laughed. Is my child really asking me this question? Daysi closed her eyes and sighed, contemplating her answer. When her eyes reopened, they met Christian's large dark brown ones staring straight into hers. He was her only child with her eyes......

        "Mom?"

Daysi shook her head to relinquish her thoughts. "Yes, dear, she does, but she loves Gale the way you love your brother, and she loves Peeta the way I love your father."

Christian stuck his tongue out in disgust. His squinted eyes made his floppy, dark brown hair lose its place on his forehead. "I do not love my bro-"

"AWWW MOM! THAT WAS SOOOOO CUTE." Daysi's one and only daughter, Eliana Bailey Fuller, walked in the room, cellphone in hand, with hair that matched Daysi's pulled to the side in a french braid, and shining green eyes just like her father's.

Daysi let out a small chuckle. "What are you up to now, Eliana, my love?"

Eli rolled her eyes. She didn't enjoy hearing her full name, but her mother refused to call her any different. "Mom. 30 MINUTES TO FALL JUST CAME OUT WITH A NEW MUSIC VIDEO. I've been watching it all morning. Jason is so cute. I'm also trying to learn the piano cover." Eli plopped onto the couch on the left side of her mother ogling at her cell phone.

"I'm glad you're making use of your piano skills." Daysi joked.

Christian scoffed at his sister and continued his reading. "You and your lame boy bands. Their music is probably all auto-tuned. Plus, their jeans are so tight, it's no wonder they've discovered their falsettos."

Eli's mouth completely dropped as soon as William walked into the room and ruffled Christian's hair. "Hey! Nice one Chris! That's the little brother I'm proud of, but you're still kinda lame. What the hell are you reading? Why are you reading?"

"I TOLD YOU TO STOP TOUCHING MY HAIR."

"WILLIAM COLE FULLER, DID YOU JUST SAY H-E-DOUBLE HOCKEY STICKS?

Will's glassy hazel eyes widened in surprise when he realized his mother was in the room. He ruffled his own dark brown hair thinking of possible escape plans. "DAD LET'S GO. NOW. LOVE YOU MOM. BYE." Will ran out the front door with the car keys jingling in his hands.

"YOU COME BACK HERE NOW." Just as the door slammed behind Will, Logan jogged down the stairs into the room, kissing Daysi on the forehead.

"What happen?" Logan's glasses were falling off his face and his hair was just as messy as always.

Daysi crossed her arms and began to pout. "Where are you two going?"

Logan was practically yelling as he walked into the kitchen. "WELL SWEETIE, WILL TURNS 17 IN TWO MONTHS AND-" Logan walked out of the kitchen struggling to carry seven bottles of powerade. He lowered his voice to normal volume, and walked towards the door. "I'm teaching him to drive." Logan walked out the door giving an air smooch to his other children who were paying no attention to him whatsoever.

Daysi sighed and placed her phone to her ear as it rang.

Christian looked up from his book in question. "Who're you calling, Mom?"

Daysi covered the phone speaker with her hand and whispered, "The insurance company. I'm making sure everything is insured. Especially your father." Christian and Eli laughed in unison while Daysi's face held a scowl of concern.

"Thank goodness. Thank you sir. Have a great day." Daysi hung up the phone and slumped in relief. The phone call had taken an hour longer than expected, and left Daysi alone in the living room. People make life so complicated. I just wanted to know if i payed the-

"MOOOOM. DOOOOOR." The children yelled in unison.

"AWWW YOU TWO ARE JUST SOOO CUTE! Eli, this dress," Arielle pulled a floral summer dress out of her purse and handed it to Eli, "soooooo adorable on you!"

"THANK YOU SO MUCH ARIELLE!" Eli squealed and ran up to her room after giving her "Auntie" Arielle a hug.

Arielle beamed. I wish i was that cute at 14. Then, she noticed Christian leaning against the wall across from the doorway. Chad walked up behind her, and dropped a medium sized box to the floor. "Why are those things so damn heavy?"

Arielle smacked Chad on the shoulder. "Stop complaining." Arielle kicked the box toward Christian causing him to peek out from his book. Arielle grinned, dusting off her hands, and placing them on her hips. "For you, love."

Christian folded a page corner to hold his place, and opened the box. "HOLY SH---------IZ LORD OF THE RINGS. MOM LOOK." Christian surprisingly gave Arielle a hug, and heaved the box up to his room grinning like a fool.

Running to the door, Daysi engulfed Arielle and Chad in a long needed hug. "I MISSED YOU GUYS."
