        Five years later.........

*Door Chimes* "DAYSI! DAYSI! GUESS WHAT???" Arielle ran into the bookstore and started jumping up and down like a school girl.

"WHAT WHAT WHAT?! WE'RE IN OUR 40'S AND YOU'RE IN HEELS. HOW COULD YOU HAVE THIS MUCH ENERGY!?"

"I GET TO RETIRE EARLY! GOODBYE STUCK UP BUSINESS MEN AND HELLO FELLOW READERS OF BOOKS. I'M THE NEW CASHIER!"

Daysi laughed at Arielle's excitement at being able to help out in the bookstore. "But you actually have to work, okay?"

"Of course! So what should i do now?"

"Well....we just reopened a few days ago, so you could help clean." Daysi looked around glanced around the store and grimaced. After abandoning her store to raise her family, it was a mess. Boxes of new books were unopened and collecting dust in a corner. The windows were to the point where it was hard to see through them, and let's not even talk about the cobwebs.....

She and Arielle had to make the best of it. They would be living there from now on. Arielle had put on her best face for Daysi, but ever since the accident....well, everything was different. Being happy felt like a chore, and crying from past memories became the usual routine.

It was about two years ago in the summer. Christian was taking summer classes, so he could get out of high school and focus on his writing. He wanted to become a fiction author. Also excelling at art, he was excited to design fan art for his own series. Eliana became big in the music industry. Her piano skills were recognized when she performed in high school, and scouts later found out she had a lovely voice. Eli now toured with her band, Mystika(Secrets in Greek), playing a new genre of music that was pop-punk, but also contained rap and techno-style beats. People either loved or hated them. They were very popular in Europe and Australia. For Will, summer was the time for him to get in shape for football in the Fall, but he spent most of his time with Logan and Chad. The last trip the three boys took was the one to remember when Will, Logan, and Chad had gone to California to see the 49ers play in San Francisco.

Chad was struggling to get out the door to pick up Will and Logan, because Arielle simply didn't want him to leave.

        "Babe, I gotta go!"

"Don't call me babe just so i'll get annoyed and make you leave. You're driving right?"

        "Yes, now i have to-"

"Listen to me. No drinking. I don't care if everyone else around you is drunk and naked. You don't drink. Understand?"

Chad groaned impatiently and mumbled, "You get crazier by the year..."

"EXCUSE YO-" Arielle quickly shut up when Chad kissed her sweetly, whispered I love you, and ran out the door. Chad rolled down the window and waved. For the first time ever, Arielle screamed I love you as he drove away.

Chad had arrived in Logan and Daysi's driveway in exactly ten minutes, and honked twice instead of calling like a normal person.

"DAD, LET'S GO!" Will bolted down the stairs and towards the door, but stopped when Daysi screamed,

"WAIT." Daysi ran down the stairs with Logan right behind her. "You two. No. Drinking. I don't care how old you are. Alcohol makes people stupid."
