They Called Her Lost (Just Because You're Lost Doesn't Mean You Can't Be Found)

Chapter: 6

Serenity

"No, no"

I begged them to stop. All they did was laugh. I cried in pain as they took a knife dipped in silver and dragged it over my stomach.

"No more...please"

It burned. I screamed in pain, they didn't care if I screamed or cried. In fact it made them happier when I did.

They took the knife away, and just when I thought everything was over... A sharp pain erupted from my stomach, causing me to throw up blood.

More tears filled my vision. I was scared...no I was petrified. "What's wrong little one? Aren't you having fun?" The leader of the hunters asked me as he brushed my hair out of my face. I flinched as he touched my cheek.

His men were no longer holding me in place. They have been doing this to me for two years now, and I still can't get use to it.

A slap sound echoed trough the cell. My right side of my face felt like it was on fire. "When I ask you something I expect you to answer" he said as he took me by the hair and slammed me to the stone wall. Black dots surrounded my vision as I fell to the floor. He was far from done with me.

"No...I-I...beg you...please...no more"

"Wake up"

Someone was shaking me. I open my eyes and come face to face with some green eyes. I start to panic since I was still half asleep. "Hey it's me. Calm down" he told me as he embraced me. It was weird the way I felt safe, I liked it. I lean into his embrace and stop crying.

He slowly runs his hand up and down my back. "Do you want to talk about it?" He asked while kissing my forehead. I shake my head. "Why did you bring me here?" I pull away as I stare at him.

"I told you already you are mine. You are my mate or how you humans say soul mate" he said as he took hold of my hands. I stare at him blankly "yeah I don't know" was all I could say. When I was small I lost hope of having a mate, I mean why would he want someone as ugly and scared as me?

"Well you can't change the fact that you belong to me" he said with a smirk "how many times do I have to tell you I do not belong to anyone, but my self" I huff rolling my eyes at him. "What ever floats your boat princess. Any ways I wanted to ask you about your element power. Your human so why would you have such a power." He asked me. Shut what should I say, what should I say?

"The truth"

I guess it won't hurt to say the truth. "Well I'm not human. Im actually like you" I say "your a werewolf? But you don't smell like one" he said sniffing me. "Ever since I was small I had a scent of a normal human, but I can shift in to my wolf." I finish saying that. "I guess that would make sense. Tell me you can feel the mate bond between us" he said pulling me closer.

A shiver runs down my spine because of the contact "I feel it, I just believe you can do better than me" I say pushing him away from me. "I only want you. Since day one you have been on my mind. I thank the moon goddess for giving me you as a mate." He said as he kissed my knuckles.

"I like your blush my princess" he commented only to make me blush even more. "Who is the moon goddess?" I looked at him puzzled. He looked at me shocked "what? Have your parents never told you about the moon goddess?" I shook my head "I don't know my parents. You see I was adopted by human parents." I said telling him part of the truth.

"Oh will I'm sorry" he said awkwardly "it's fine" I smile sadly "well the moon goddess is the  person who watches over all of us. She is the one who matches us with are mates. When you ask her for help she does what she can. I have heard young kids say that she talks to them when they are sad or lonely" he tells me.

Could it be the moon goddess that has been speaking to me ever since I was small. Could she be the one who had put a ray of hope in me.

"She sounds like a wonderful person." I smile "not only that but they say she is really beautiful to. She has long silver hair and silver eyes. Her skin is fair" he said as he ran his fingers through my hair. I lean in to his touch enjoying the feeling.

"Tell me Serenity, just what are you hiding from me?" I looked at him shock. But then again I shouldn't be I mean he did kidnap me it wouldn't be surprising if he had also stalked me. "How do you know my name? I don't recall telling you my name, or did I?" I eye him suspiciously. I also wanted to distract him from his question. He smirk "I know somethings about you. Your name is Serenity Night, Owner of Night's Industry, both parents died two years ago.  I believe that's about it" he said as he tough about it.

"That's no fair you know things about me but I have no clue who you are. For all I know you can be an imposter, making me believe we are mates." I say as I cross my arms and pouted. He chuckles "alright I'll tell you. My name is Steven Evergreen also known as the Alpha of the Evergreen pack. Our pack is one of the biggest right behind the Blood half moon Pack." He said it with pride.

"And soon you will become my Luna and lead the pack by my side as my equal." He said with a wink. "I don't think am up for it" I look down "princess you are more than capable for the task, the way you protected that pup. Only shows how strong and caring you are" he said pulling me to him once more.

"I-I...I will trust you Steven. I'll trust you"
