Chapter: 7

Serenity

"Steven can you please put me down" currently Steve is carrying me over his shoulder to who knows where. "Well you wouldn't be in this situation if you didn't try to leave once more." He said. Yes I did try to leave again and failed miserably. I mean I did make it to the woods this time but right when I was about to jump and shift, but as I jumped two strong arms caught me. And that people is how I ended over an Alphas shoulder.

I heard a door open and then he sat me down on a desk. "Steve I run a company" I whine. Well that's a first. "So, I run a whole pack and you don't see me complaining" what he thinks that I'm complaining. "Listen here mister I am happy with my company, but what I meant was that since I run a big company I need to work ." I say in a duh tone.

"Here" he said as he gave me the book bag I had when I was camping out. "You can work from here, plus from what I heard you are actually on a two week vacation" he said. "You can't keep me from my freedom" I glare at him. "You still have your freedom, but the forest is off limits"  oh no you didn't "Steven I swear I will find a way to murder you then bring you back then throw you in front of a train then feed what's left of you to the Sharks." I threaten "I am willing to kill for my freedom" he looks at me with an amused expression. I was about to keep going when I heard someone laugh.

"Son you truly have an amazing mate, she reminds me so much of your mother when I met her" I turn to see and older version of Steve. I quickly get down from the desk and walk up to him. " hello mr.Evergreen I'm Serenity Night. Your sons so called mate. I don't mean to be rude but right now I am very busy planning his murder so I can go back home." I say as he also just stares at me with an amused stare.

"Call me John" he said with a smile. "Did I hear right. Are you keeping this poor child imprisoned" I heard someone yell. Then a lady came in to the room with a murderous glare. I look at both her husband and son and let's just say that they look really scared. So I got this idea to play innocent.

I walked up to her and pouted. "Your son kidnapped me and won't let me go back home. Will you help me please."  She then pulled me into a hug and I could feel Steven glares holes into my back. "It's okay my child mamas gonna make it better. Steven just because she is your mate does not mean you can just kidnap her. Especially a human. I thought I raised you better" she scold her son.

When she call me her child and that she was going to make things better, I couldn't help but feel a pain in my chest. I know I'm missing something, but I can't remember.

"Mom she doesn't want to stay and she is mine. Oh and she is actually a wolf just like us, she just smells human"  he explained as he pulled me away from his mother, but she also grabbed onto me "okay I don't feel like being the rope of tug a war" I say pulling my arms to my side.

"Tell me my dear how old are you" she asked me as she sat in one of the chairs in front of Steve's desk. I sat next to her "I'm seventeen." I answered "o my Steven is four years older than you" she said as she looked at her son. I faked a gasp "the more reason for me to go home. I'm not really into old guys. I like my men hot and young with a hint of wild" I tell her as I send her a secret wink. She laughed "I also like my men like that sadly I'm stuck with this old rusty guy" she said with a dramatic sigh.

I heard a growls come from behind us. All of a sudden we were both picked up, we faced to very angry Alphas. Well more like Alpha and former Alpha. "I can show you just how wild I can be for an old guy" " I'll show you how rusty I am" they  both said  at the same time. I just shook my head and pushed him away. I took my book bag and walked out of the office. I didn't bother saying goodbye to his parents since they were having um a moment.

I heard Steve follow me as I made my way out of the pack house and sat on one of the chairs on the porch. I took out my drawing book and opened it to a clean page. "You are very talented my princess" I felt his warm breath on the back of my neck sending chills down my back.

"Thanks. What talents do you have other than kidnapping?" I asked as I drew. "I can play both the piano and the violin. I guess I can also cook" he said as me sat next to me. "That's good because I can't all I know how to do is bake" I shrug as I finish up my drawing. "You drew my wolf." He said with excitement when I was shading in the wolves green eyes.

"Your wolf just came in mind so I drew it do you like it" I asked passing my sketch book to him. "I don't like it...I love it" he said with admiration in his eyes as he looked at me. I really thought he was going to say he didn't like it. "My wolf is jumping with joy in my mind" he said "you can talk to your wolf?" I asked confused "yeah can't you?" I shake my head "when you shift there is this voice in your head that's always talking to you. It also has part of your bodies control" I shake my head again. "I guess I don't have one. I guess I have full control of my body" he looked at me as if to figure out something. "That's really weird" he said
I just shrug not really caring since I was use to being different from the rest.
