Chapter: 23

Serenity

Growls

*Bang*

I watch as my fathers hand slams on the desk. Both my mate and brother growled as I tell them all my story. The sad story of my hurtful past.

They were all beyond furious, to say I was a little scared right now was an understatement. I try my best to calm all of them down.

"Hey. I'm alright now, sure I went through hell but I was able to leave. I was adopted by a nice human couple, who later on died in an car accident. I miss them but I have to be strong and keep the business they work so hard on, to become one of the best. I later on met Steven who kidnapped me from my home. And you know the rest. I'm just so happy I have my old family back." A tear slips from my eye but I am quick to wipe it away. I have no reason to cry, I should be happy yet I feel helpless right now.

"Sweetheart why don't you go down stairs for awhile. The three of us have something important to discuss." Dad said as he hugs me and leads me to the door. I stop my track and glare at him.

"It has to do with me, therefore I have the right to stay here and listen. This is my fight, I am the one who has to stop this." I tell him. He looks at me with a weird expression.

He pulls me to him into a tight embrace not wanting to let go. "Baby girl I'm just trying to protect you. We all are. Let me protect you, I couldn't eleven years ago, but now that I have you back I want to keep you safe. Your so much like your mother. She would say those same words to me once. Your just as strong as she is." He said as he kissed my head and let me go.

I smile at him and nod. "Alright dad I understand." I walk out of the office and made my way to down to the kitchen.

As I enter the kitchen I go through the cabinets and took out the ingredients I need to make a chocoflan cake. I was to distracted in what I was planning to bake that I didn't even notice the person that was sitting at the kitchen counter was he watched television.

"No hello?"

I jump and turn to find Jax. I blush a bit embarrassed. "Hi sorry . I was just very focused on what I was going to back that I didn't see you there." He looked at me for a moment then bursted out laughing.

This caused me to blush even more. "It's alright Luna. I could tell you were deep in thought. I did expect you to sense me either. I mean you are human."
Just as I was about to answer.

"No way!!!"

A female voice screams through the kitchen. I had no time to react. I was now on the floor with a very cute girl on me. I awkwardly smile at her. Dame what does this girl eat she is heavy.

"Issa get off of Luna Serenity" Jax said as he pulled her off me and helped me up. "Sorry Luna. This is my mate Issa." He apologized. "It's alright and just Serenity is fine no need for the Luna part." I then turn to the girl and smile. "It's nice to meet you." All she did was jump up and down.

"I can't believe you are our Luna. I mean you are Serenity Night." She said as she took the remote control from Jax and went threw the channels till she stopped at one. "See" she said as she pointed at my companies commercial. I had to be the model for the ad.

"No wonder you looked familiar" Jaxs said and I just shrugged and went on with my baking. "Jax we have a celebrity as a Luna. Alpha Jason is so lucky." Issa shouted as Jaxs choked on what ever he was drinking. I just shook my head, if only they knew he is my brother. "Issa she is the mate of the visiting Alpha." Jax whispered yelled at her as she pouted. "Aww bite she would look so much better with Alpha Jason. I mean even their eyes are the same. They would be the cutest couple ever." Issa said as she came to me.

"So what do you say. Wouldn't you like to be Alpha Jason's mate" he said with pleading eyes. I laugh "nope. I love my mate. I wouldn't change him for anyone, wait maybe for food but other than that nope he's mine. What if I said you would look better with someone that wasn't your mate." I tell her "I would always choose my mate" she said and I smile. "Plus I think Alpha Jason is ugly. He is even copying my eye color." I tell her as she gasps. Jax on the other hand starts to laugh.

"You wound me beautiful." I smile as I hear Jason and the other two come into the kitchen. As I see him I stick my tongue out. "Technically you copied my eyes, since I was born first. And out of the both of us mom always said I was the better looking." He said as he threw his arm over my shoulder as he messes up my hair.

Steven smiles and winks at me as he sits next to Jax and dad. Jax just look at Steven as if to see if he would attack Jason. "See I told you they look good together." Issa buts in. "Eww. Never." I try to bush Jason away from me as he wiggles his eyebrows at me. "Not happening" I warn him. As he pouted them laughed. "Issa the only reason you think we look good together is because we sort of look alike." I tell her. "What else would you expect from siblings."  Jason said as I watch Jax choke again and Issa look a bit pale.
