They Called Her Lost (Just Because You're Lost Doesn't Mean You Can't Be Found)

Chapter: 15

Serenity

I didn't know what to tell him. Am I ready to tell him about my past. I mean the only reason I am not affected by silver is because of those awful five years they would inject or cut me with silver. It got to the point it no longer had an effect on me that's when they began to beat me more violently than before.

"Can we talk about this somewhere no one can listen to us." I whisper to him. He nods his head as he gently picks me up. He makes his way out the door. I lean my head against his shoulder.

I feel so nervous I have no idea how I'm going to drop the boom. What if he feels disgusted by me right after I tell him. What can I do. I also don't want his pity.

"Tell me princess" he says as he puts me down on a bed. I look around to see that he has put us in our room. "The room is soundproof" he continues. "Why would you make the bed room sound proof?" I tilt my head and ask. A smirk makes his way on his face as he leans forward "it's so no one will hear you" he pulls away. I give him a puzzled look. "Right" I shrug as take his hand in mine.

"You asked why silver didn't hurt me right" he nods as he pulls me on to his lap and plays with my hair. "What I'm about to tell you no one knows not even my parents" I seriously tell him.

"When I was five I was taken away by a group of hunters and rogues. During that time I was kept in a small cell. They are the reason I can't remember my real parents. All I remember is crying for my dad till I was knocked out and when I woke up I couldn't remember anything." I felt him tense up as I spoke "they started to beat me saying that some pain might bring out my power. At that time I had no idea what they where talking about. When they saw that that wasn't working that's when silver was introduced. Many of the other prisoners they had also kidnapped tried to defend me but got themselves killed because of me. I was the only child among the taken." I felt Stevens hold on my thigh tighten and he shook a bit.

He growled. "Keep going princess" he gently pets my hair. "After five years after that the rogue leaders mate helped me escape. I ran from them as they also came after me. I reached a Clift and jumped from it when they were about to grab me. I then woke up in a hospital were my parents had adopted me right after getting to know each other. When I got my earth element power I thought that this might have been the power they were looking for." He pulled me closer and strongly inhaled my scent try to control his wolf. " the only reason I was able to keep going was because there was always this voice telling me to stay strong that it would soon be over. At time as the voice spoke my pain would vanish" I hug him running my hands up and down his back.

"That could have been the moon goddess speaking to you" he kissed my head as he says that. "Princess I promise that I will make those who hurt you pay. I'll have no mercy" he growls. "Steven I was so scared at that time. When I saw those rogues trying to take Hope, I just couldn't let it happen. When I heard who the leader of those rogues was I knew then that if he is to find out, neither Hope and I are safe anymore. He will try to take us once again." Just the thought of going back to that cell sent chills down my spine. "Princess there is no way anyone is taking you from me. You are mine and only mine." He said possessively.

"Thank you for not pushing me away" I smile at him as his eyes grow dark "why would you think I would push you away. That won't ever happen, in fact what you just told me makes me want to protect you even more" he finish. His eyes suddenly get all foggy.

I think he is talking to someone. I shrug and put my face against his neck. I sigh as I enjoy his scent. I'm so glad nothing to dramatic happened. I just hope he doesn't overly protect me and doesn't let me get out of the house. Speaking of which I have to go back to the company in threes days since vacations are almost over.

I slowly run my nose against his neck. It seem he is still speaking with someone so I lick  his neck. His skin tasted sweet for some odd reason, not being able to resist I took a lick more.

I heard him groan as his hold on me tightens. Well this is awkward. Why does this always happen to me. I could feel my face turn red.

"Princess I really would rather you do this when I'm not distracted. I think I already told you this" he pulls away to look at me. "Sorry I don't know what came over me" I blush even more. I hear him laugh "the bond between us is growing, meaning we will want to be more close to each other in many way. I'll wait till your ready to take the next step in the mating process" he says as he pulls me closer.

"Who were you talking to?" I asked "I was talking to Nate. I will be going to a meeting at Blood Half Moon pack to discuss our rogue problem in two weeks." He explains "can I go with you?" I give him my best smile. "Of course you can. It would also keep me calm that you are salt by my side." Yay I get to go to another pack!

"Home"

What? That's the only word that voice said. She could be reminding me about my company. Right?
