They Called Her Lost (Just Because You're Lost Doesn't Mean You Can't Be Found)

Chapter: 22

Serenity

I turn around to face the person who called out to me.

The voice of that person sounded so broken. His voice was so familiar to me.

As I face the person, my eyes widen as they meet a man around his early thirties. My head started to pound as I look at him.

He was speechless as he took a step closer to me. My heart began to beat in an abnormal speed. He then put his hand on my cheek as he gently caressed it. His eyes began to tear up.

This man.

This man is someone special to me. I just know it. I need to remember.

"Princess, come back here" a man called out to a child as she ran out the house.

"No daddy. I want to water my flowers daddy" the child stops and pouts as she crosses her small arms.

The man sighs before giving in. The child laughs as she runs up to her father and throws her small arms around him as he picks her up.

"Alright my pretty princess. To the garden it is." 

My head began to spin a bit as I recall a small memory of what maybe my past.

I look at the man in confusion as me pulls me into a hug. "My baby girl. Your back, your finally home after 12 long years. I have missed you so much my pup." He cried in to my neck as he pulled me even closer.

A few seconds later I as well was crying as I hug him back. Could he really be my dad. Is he the family I have forgotten and I was taken from?

"My little Serenity, how did you get here. No it doesn't matter we finally have you here." He said as he pulled back a bit and wiped my tears.

"Are you really my dad?" I asked him in a whisper. "I could never forget my pups and their scent. A wolf will always recognize their young even after being separated for so long." He said as he kissed my head. I smile as him softly.

"I'm sorry it's just that when I was small I lost all my memories." I explain to him as I hug him tightly. I have my dad back. The person I called out for the most.

I then stiffen when I heard a loud and dangerous growl from behind us. Dad pulled away and turned to face my very angry mate. Dad stepped in front of me as if to protect me.

I place my hand on dads arm before walking in front of him. "Steven it's okay please don't be mad" I say as I try to calm him down. "How do you expect me to be calm if another male was holding my mate." He growled as my dad also growled and pulled me to him.

Well that didn't help the situation.

Steven looked ready to attack and so did dad. But I pushed dad away while Jason took hold of Steven. "Dad just what are you doing. Mom wouldn't be happy if she saw you holding another female" Jason said as he looked at dad with accusing eyes.

"Can we all just calm down please. All this arguing is give me a worse head ache" I say as I hold my head.

"There is no way I am going to lose my pup again just when I got her back after so long" dad growled pulling me to him.

"Pup?" Steven looked confused. "Wait you mean she actually is our Serenity. I knew it. I just wasn't sure" Jason said as he let go of Steven and took me from dad and hugged me tightly as he also silently cried.

"I missed you so much baby sis. You have no idea how long we have looked for you" he said "lastly we thought you where dead. We didn't want to believe it, but we could no longer feel the connection we had." Jason said as he and dad hold me.

Wait Jason.

This is the Jason who has been wanting me to remember him. This is the family that I had lost. No wonder those pictures of him when he was small looked so familiar.

I cry as I pull them both to me.

"Don't cry my daughter. You are finally home"

The sweet and gentle voice said.

'Who are you' I ask the voice

"Silly child I'm your mother. I have always been by you side." She said

'Mother?'

"Yes my dear. I must go  now, but I'll always be there for you" was the last thing she said before everything went silent.

"Did mom just speak to you?" Asked Jason as I notice that I am now in my mates arms.

"Yes. How did you know?" I look at Jason as he smiles at me. "When mom talks to me or dad we usually freeze up for awhile." He says as he shrugs

"Princess? How are you feeling?" I look up at Steve. I lay my head against his chest. "I'm fine. Just trying to handle all this situation" I say with a small smile.

"I'm so happy I have found my family. It saddens me that I can't remember much about about you guys" I look down in shame.

"Tell us my girl, who took you?" Dad said as he look serious now and so did Jason.

"A group of hunters that had partnered up with rogues." I said as I look away from them. I don't like to remember them. I wish that none of that had happened to me. Every thing could have been different.  I could have grown up with my true family by my side, but destiny had to get in the way and cause me so much pain, till I could finally run away.

"Princess I know you don't like talking about them but you have to tell them" Steven said as he patted my back. I nod and look at dad and brother. "Can we go to your office?" Jason nods and leads the way.

This is going to be a long story.
