"Run"

"Run my child run"

I ran as I was told.

I ran as fast as my small legs could carry me.

I could hear them behind me, they were getting close. They growled and snarled. I had no idea where I was going. I all I wanted was to get away.

I'm getting tired but I keep going. Tears flow down my cheek. My vision blurs causing me to trip and fall down a steep hill. "Ah" I cry. I knew my ankle was now hurt, but I still got up and ran ignoring my pain.

The low tree branches scraped my skin as I ran past them.

"Come back here little girl" one called out to me "we promise not to hurt you...much" his voice sounding closer.

I shake my head as I ran. I couldn't go back, not when I finally escaped.

Flashback

"Little one. Come here" the lady who was mates with my kidnapper called me as she opened my cell. She was a very nice person, if it wasn't for her I believe I would have been dead by now.

"Little one no one is here, now is your chance to run" she pulled me outside and pushed into the woods.

"Run and don't turn back. No matter what you must not stop." She said pushing me forward

"And you?" I asked her as she smiled "I'll be fine little one. Now go hurry" I ran. I didn't know where but I ran.

Minutes later a really loud growl came from the direction I had gone through.

End of flashback

When I was younger she always kept me safe from the evil people, but when she wasn't there it was a real  nightmare.

I don't remember anything other than waking up in a cold cell. I wonder if I have a family out there, looking for me.

I look back and I wished I didn't they were far but I could still see them. I pick up my pace when I notice a bright light shining through the trees.

Once I was out of the woods I saw a Cliff with a water fall on it. I get closer to take a quick look only to see nothing but a thick fog. I turn to go back into the forest but stop, when I see them.

They all smirked at me. "No were to run little girl" he took a step closer as I took a step back feeling the edge of the Cliff.

"Come here we are going back and once we get back you would have wished you never left" he threatened. I shake my head. I don't want to go back.

"Jump my child, you will be safe"

The voice was warm. With out turning around I fell backwards doing as I was told.

"No. Go down there and look for her" he growled with anger.

I was falling and I couldn't see how or where I was going to fall.

My head was spinning. I was slowly falling into deep darkness not before hitting the water.
