They Called Her Lost (Just Because You're Lost Doesn't Mean You Can't Be Found)

Chapter: 27

Serenity

"Serenity get back here!"

I ran down the halls as I tried to find the room we were both going to share. I still can't believe that four days straight I've been knocked out. I have to see how the company is doing.

I follow Stevens faint scent back to a room he most of freshened up in. I go in and look around for ah there it is. My book bag. I place it on the the bed and take out my secret laptop. I turn it on and type in the wifi password that I had memorized from the slip of paper Steven took from me.

I shut the laptop quickly  as I hear Stevens run down the hall calling my name. I place it back in the book bag. I put it on and quickly reach for the window and jump out of it. I was on the third floor but I made a safe landing.

"Wow sis. Not bad at all. So what are you doing up sent you suppose to be in bed?" I tense up at first but then relax when I see that it is Jason. "I've been asleep for four days I don't need anymore rest. I tell him as I make my way into the forest to find a place I could work, if not on my computer I might as well come up with some new designs.

"Nope."

Before I could even enter the forest my dear big brother throws me over his shoulder and walks back to the house. "Put me down Jason" I tell him as I hit his back with my fist. "The forest is off limits for you sis. It's for your own safety" he tells me as he puts me down on the couch.

I pout and cross my arms.

"Why?" I ask him. I mean he can't just forbid me to not go into the wood with out a good reason. And I don't take 'it's for your own safety as a reason'.

"Look Serenity the rogues that attacked came here for one reason" he said as he looked at me with a serious face. "That reason is you" he said as I can feel myself instantly pale.

I try to control my breathing as I hear this.

They found me. He found me.

"N-no that can't be, I mean I've-they don't know who I am. It's been seven years since they..." Tears start to threaten to fall. No I don't want to go back to them, and I don't want Hope to fall victim either.

"Princess?"

I look up to see a very worried mate. "Steven. They found me..." I cry as I start to yet again remember what I have been wanting to burry deep within my mind.

I remember what he told me once

I don't know how long I have been here but I knew it was to long. I haven't seen the sun and clouds in so long that I no long knew how they looked. I  want to leave, run away as far as I can and be free.

But then I remember that I can't even stand on my own to feet with out stumbling back to the ground. I don't think I would make it to far with my condition.

"I want to be free" I whisper to myself  and to my luck the man who keeps me here shows up laughing. He is always laughing at me. It's like I amuse him.

"Aww will you look at that the little girl wants to run." He mocks me. I glare at him with so much hatred. "Listen here little girl. "You will never and I mean never leave this place. Unless your dead even then I would just keep your rotten body here." He said as he lifted me up by the neck.

I struggle for air but he just watched me with that horrid smirk. It took all I had to scratch him. My long sharp nails make it to his face as I scratch him causing him to let me go and take him own face in his hand.

He began to shake with rage as he kicked me and pulled my hair, causing my face to hit the silver bars of my cell. The silver burned a bit but it didn't cause me much damage.

"Show her no mercy" he said as he walked out and two rogues take his place. The two men smile to one another as I push my self further into the corner of the cell. "Let the game begin" one said as the other took my arms and chained them to the wall. I close my eyes and wait for it all to end.

"Serenity! It's alright nothing will happen to you. I won't allow it none of us will" Steven said as I finally regained my senses. "Don't let them take me" I whisper as I hold on tightly to Steven.

"No one will ever hurt you" he promised as he rubbed my back in a slow motion.

"How do you know they were here for me" I ask as I finally calm my self down. "The person you trapped to the tree, he was a hunter and we persuaded him to tel is who sent him. He then told us about his boss wanting you dead or alive." Jason said as he and Steven growled.

I try my best to keep calm once moser and start to play with the strap of my book bag.

"Hey sis what's in the bag?" I quickly forget about being scared and tense up a bit only hoping Steven won't notice. "Uhm nothing just some girl stuff" I say as I look anywhere but Steven.

"Let me see"

Steven snatches my book bag and goes through it. "Princess what is this?" He asked as he took out my mini laptop. "Oh how did that get there?" I say as I try to play the innocent card. "I told you, you are not allowed near electronics" he said as I pout.

Well there goes my distraction.
