At this moment I felt so good both Serenity and I had finally completed the mating process, but I wonder why she didn't want to mark me. Sure the bond was done but with out be Mark on me I still can't communicate that well with her. I didn't feel like getting up but I had a feeling that some thing was not right.

I pull my mate closer to me only to find that I held on to her pillow. I open my eyes expecting to see my beautiful mate asleep right next to me. The place right next to me was cold meaning she hasn't been in bed for awhile. I sat up and threw the pillow I was holding and walked into the bathroom. "Princess you in there?"

Only to find it empty. Her scent in the room was faint meaning she has been gone for a while.

I quickly get changed and head down stairs. "Serenity?" I call out to her but I don't get a reply. Her scent is also very faint here.

What if something happened to her. Knowing her she must have gone to look for Gile on her own. But she wouldn't do this, not with out leaving some type of note right. I run up the stairs and knock on Jason's door almost braking it.

"What! Steven do you really have to knock that way you almost broke my do-" "Shut up and listen. I can't find Serenity anywhere." I tell him as he looks shock as well as confused. I watch as his eyes glaze over as he talks to someone. "Let's go to the office. I have sent my best trackers to scout the area." He said as he grabs a shirt and walk to the office.

"When was the last time you saw her?" Asked Logan

"She was sleeping with me the next thing I know is that I wake up to an empty bed." I tell him. "What if she went after Gile. Did you by chance tell her about Hope?" Jason asked as he leaned back on his chair. "No I didn't tell her. I didn't want to stress her out any more than what she was." I sigh. What if she found out.

"I didn't think much of it yesterday but when I went get her from her old room, she told me that if anything happens to her and I find my mate and have a daughter I should giver all the things that use to belong to her." He says as he stands and walk up the the walk of pictures he had. "What if she had planned to run. I mean that's the only reasonable explanation there is for the way she was acting." Jason said as he turned to face me.

Then last night the only reason she...no I don't want to believe this. "She was saying goodbye" I say as my fists clench and a deep growl rises from my throat.

"We have to find her" I say as I open the door and run down stairs and out the house. I see Jax run up to me with a worried expression. "Bad news Alpha. Serenity's scent was lost at the boarder. No one in the night shift saw her go through the woods. My men also found this." He said as he gave me an envelope.

I open the letter and read it.

My jaw clenched as I feel myself about to shift. "Steven calm down. What does the note say?" I close my eyes and take deep breaths as I turn to hand the not to Logan.

"He has Serenity." I feel useless at this point. I couldn't keep her safe. I promised her I wouldn't let them get to her. "Steven well get her back." Jason said as he growled.

Please moon goddess. This is your daughter, help me finder. Give me a clue anything to me able to find her and keep her safe.

I pray to her, honoring she will hear my plea.

"What is that" Jason says as a glowing image appeared and slowly became brighter, till a figure inside a blanket was left. I step closer to it and try to pull of the blanket, but as I do it whimpers and steps back in fear.

"Hey it's alright. I'm Alpha Steven and you are?" I ask as the child behind the blanket stays still and drops the blanket. As it drops to the floor it became a golden papers and pen that later became black ashes. The pen and paper looked like the ones Serenity had in the room last night.

The little girl runs into my arms and starts to cry. I then realize that the girl I hold is none other than Hope my betas daughter. I look over her and see that she isn't hurt. "Hope did you see Serenity your Luna?" I ask her. Hope nods her head and begins to cry once again.

"How did...what that paper and pen. I didn't notice it yesterday either when she had it in her hand. I remember when we were small we had lost Serenity in a park. When we found her she had those papers and pen with her." Jason said

"That's right she had said something about a nice lady giving it to her. That same day I had sent out more guards to check the area since I could smell the witch all over Serenity. I had tried to take the stuff the witch had given her but Serenity had already hidden it." Logan said.

"Well she was able to use it to save Hope. But now it's more of a reason to find her quickly. She's all alone now." I say as look at Hope. "Hope do you know where you were taken?" I ask. "Th-they have a secret h-house in the woods. Inside the basement is were they put me and Luna. I-I'm sorry Alpha. I don't know anything else" she said as I give her a small smile and hand her to Issa who had just arrived. "Can you please watch over her." Issa nods and walks away with Hope.

"Jason can you seen some of your men to search your whole territory for any suspicious homes deep in the woods. I'll contact other alphas to do the same." I say as he agrees.
