[20] The Originals - Moon over Bourbon Street (Pt 2)

Elijah has decided to thrown an impromptu party at the compound, where all the factions can come 'celebrate together and mingle' in his words.

Genevieve entered with Davina, Abigail, and Monique in tow. Diego and the other vampires are drinking together by the bar and then Jackson, Hayley, Ollie and the other werewolves entering the party. Myself, Klaus and Elijah looked down at the party and everyone from the balcony.

"I'm impressed, brother." Elijah said "Yes" Klaus replied rather simply. "Now if we can just keep them from tearing one another to shreds, that would be a bonus" i said smirking. "Well, then for your two's sake, here's to a spectacularly boring evening" Klaus said and held his drink up to Elijah and I before walking down the stairs.

There was people everywhere i looked, i'd lost interest in staying with my brothers so i went to try and find my date. I had texted Stefan to ask if he wanted to pay a visit and take his mind off the whole Elena-Damon thing i heard about back in Mystic Falls. He replied saying he might be running late to the party. I sighed as i grabbed a drink from the bad and started to text my sister, Rebekah. Mid way through the text message i heard a cough and i looked up. There stood Stefan. "you made it!" i said happily and he chuckled "anything for my favourite Mikealson" he said and i chuckled, wrapping my arms around him in a hug. "I've missed you so much" I said into his shoulder. "i've missed you too! everyone misses you" Stefan said and i smiled sadly at the thought of all my friends back home. "when are you coming home?" he asked. "i have no idea" i said and he nodded. "can i have this dance?" Stefan asked and held out his hand. I took it and chuckled. "with pleasure Mr Salvatore" i said and he smiled and led me onto the dance floor. Everyone was slowly shuffling to the slightly slow music for a party but i'm sure Klaus will fix that in a second. "anything interesting going on?" Stefan asked. "Well, there's been the normal high number of deaths, tortures, murderers, attacks on all kinds of supernatural creates. everybody wants equal power in the quarter and my brother is trying to keep the peace within the factions of vampires, witches and werewolves" i said and he chuckled. "i presume you mean Elijah" he said and i laughed. "Of course! Nik just stays inside now a days, either painting or sleeping around with they red haired prostitute" I said and Stefan stifled a snigger. "shut your mouth" I heard Klaus says with my vampire hearing and so did Stefan. We both laughed and returned to the side of the building near the bar. Stefan was catching me up on the dramas of Mystic Falls when i saw Diego and some other vampires pass Jackson and Ollie. "What's up, little man?" He said as he purposely bumped into Jackson, which angered Ollie. "He's not even worth it." Jackson said to him and walks away. Elijah goes to follow after Jackson, sensing hostility brewing, but Francesca distracts him. I rolled my eyes at the human bitch, although she always smelt weird, i couldn't pinpoint it. They seemed to be having some sort of boring conversation when i zoned back into Stefan's conversation where he was just talking about how i need to come back for high school graduation. "Definitely not, i haven't been there for months!" i said and we both chuckled. "Well isn't this cosy" Klaus said and i turned around, he was standing there with a glass of some alcoholic beverage. "what do you want" i asked him sighing and rolling my eyes. "just to greet an old friend" he said and i glared at him. "hello, Klaus" Stefan said and Klaus smirked at him. "Hello...Rippar" Klaus said and i chuckled. "what's so funny love?" he asked annoyed. "well clearly someone got out of bed the wrong side this morning, but then again i guess the company you keep didn't exactly put you in a good mood" i said and he went to lunge at me and but i concentrated on stopping him in his tracks, as he was raising a punch. I chuckled, stepped back and let him continue again, he missed and almost stumbled forward. Most of the party had noticed our brawl and just as he went to lunge again with even more anger, Elijah stepped in. "That is enough! the pair of you" He said, placing a hand on Klaus' chest and the other out in front of me. I smirked at Klaus which only made him angrier. "how do you expect the french quarter to maintain peace when you two cannot!" he said angrily with us both which soon wiped the smile of my face. "i would have thought you had a little more self control Y/N" Elijah said and walked off with Klaus, leaving me rather angry.
