"Hi Wise Girl."
I smiled and hugged the stuffed dolphin to my chest. "Hey Seaweed Brain. How's camp without me?"
He shrugged. "It's okay, I guess. I miss you a lot."
"I miss you too." I sighed softly. "How are the others?"
"Piper and I started a food fight at dinner yesterday. Jason got hit in the head with a pitcher of lemonade."
I laughed. "Was he okay?"
"Yeah. You forget, Wise Girl, he's gotten hit in the head with a brick and survived."
"Fair point. Anything else, besides you and Piper causing chaos?"
Percy chuckled. "There's a new child of Athena."
"Really?" I smiled and sat up. "What's his name?"
"Josh. He's a month shy of his thirteenth birthday and he got claimed at dinner yesterday."
"Cool. What's he like?"
Percy grinned. "Very hyper. He's really into aviation, planes and stuff."
"Can't wait to meet him." I smiled. It was always so cool seeing what my siblings could do.
"So when is your gala?"
"Tomorrow night. My neighbor offered to do my hair."
Percy grinned. "Well I wanna see it when she does. I bet you'll look even more gorgeous than you already are."
"Oh shush, Seaweed Brain."
"You can't make me, Wise Girl." He taunted, grinning.
I raised a hand threateningly. "I could hang up."
"No wait don't!"
"That's what I thought."
Percy pouted. "You suck."
I snorted. "Yeah whatever. You love me."
"I do. A lot."
I had to smile at that. "I love you too, Seaweed Brain."
He chuckled, then I heard someone knocking on his cabin door.
"Who is it?"
"Piper and Jason! C'mon, loser, we're gonna go play volleyball!"
Percy laughed. "Hang on, I'm talking to Annabeth!"
Piper burst through the door, running over. Jason was at her heels, holding a beat up volleyball.
"Hi Annabeth. How's Minnesota?"
I smiled. "Significantly colder than New York."
"Man I wish I was there." Piper made a face. "I'm this close to cutting the sleeves and sides off of all my t-shirts."
"I'd fully support that." Jason joked.
"Shut up. You just like being able to tickle me easier." She smacked his arm and he laughed.
"Gods, I miss you guys." I smiled.
"We miss you too, Wise Girl." Percy chuckled softly. "Will you two get out so I can say goodbye to my girlfriend in peace?"
"Fine, but if you're not out in two minutes I'm sending Leo in." Piper threatened.
"Whatever, Braids." He laughed, pushing both of them. "Out."
Jason slipped an arm around Piper's waist, under her cut-off shirt. She flicked his shoulder sharply and darted away once he let go, laughing.
Percy shook his head and turned back to me as the door to his cabin slammed shut.
"I guess I gotta go, Wise Girl. Talk to you tomorrow?"
"Definitely. I'll call you, okay?"
"Sounds perfect." He smiled.
I blew him a kiss. "I love you, Seaweed Brain."
"I love you too, Wise Girl." He caught it and pretended to hold it to his cheek.
"Do I get one?" I teased.
"No, because the last time I did that you pretended to throw it in a blender."
I laughed. "Oh come on, Seaweed Brain. It was a joke."
Percy crossed his arms stubbornly. "No."
I made a puppy face at him, pouting a little bit.
He sighed. "Gods that's cute. Fine."
I 'caught' the kiss he blew me and tucked it into the pocket of the sweatshirt I was wearing. "For later."
He chuckled. "Alright. Talk to you tomorrow."
"Bye." I swiped a hand through the Iris Message and flopped backwards, sighing.
"Who were you talking to?" My roommate Olivia walked in.
"Boyfriend."
"Aww. Do I get to talk to him?"
"Probably not. He's several time zones away and almost always busy. It's a struggle to get a few minutes in."
"That sucks." She made a sympathetic face. "Ready for lunch?"
I sat up. "Yeah, hold on. I gotta find my shoes."
"I heard Thomas is gonna be there." She winked.
"Ugh. Don't remind me."
"Come on, he's a nice guy."
"Yeah, who won't stop flirting with me." I slipped my shoes on, then pulled off my sweatshirt to change it out for one of Percy's. "Think this'll deter him?"
"Probably not." She shrugged. "He's one of those guys who doesn't take no for an answer."
"Well he's gonna take a fist to the face if he doesn't back off." I pulled my hair into a ponytail and grabbed my dorm key.
"I'd love to see that." Oliva laughed as we walked out into the hallway.
[A/N so I downloaded A Hogwarts Mystery... anyone else trying to avoid fighting the other houses? Like, I don't see the point in getting in a brawl with Slytherin (I'm Ravenclaw) because as someone who switched schools multiple times in grade school and high school, I find house/school elitism really stupid. There are advantages and disadvantages to each, calm down with that 'WE'RE THE BEST AND EVERYONE ELSE IS INFERIOR' crap. Cause guess who else thought that. Hitler. So yeah]
