Chapter 28 (Saving the damsel in distress)

As we traveled down the path we started to hear voices.

"Shut it Koios is coming we must remain silent for him" I heard a Cyclops squeak.

Nico and I etched a little closer and the sight we saw was horrible.

About 500 Cyclopes all waiting for this Koios to speak.

"We've got trouble" I said and Nico looked over me.

"Shit, we do" Nico muttered.

"Who ever this Koios guy is he's got to be popular among Cyclopes" I said.

Nico looked at me "Um El, Koios is the Titan of the north" he said.

"Then we are really screwed" I said looking at group of monsters.

"I don't think we can kill them all" I said studying them.

"That's kind if obvious, our best option is to find Leo and break him out" Nico said.

He was right, there was no way we would survive fighting these Cyclopes.

"Okay then lets look for Leo or where they might be keeping him" I said.

We started walking away from the Cyclopes and the noises of the beast lessened.

We were walking for a while when I heard two Cyclopes.

"I wish we could eat him" One Cyclops said to the other.

"I do to but master said no and meant it" The second one said.

"They must be guarding him" I said to Nico.

He nodded

"Okay I'll distract them while you go for Leo, then once you get him come to me and I'll shadow travel us out of here" Nico said.

"Okay let's go" I said.

I waited for Nico to start messing with the guards before I went for Leo.

I saw a metal cage and found Leo inside looking bored and beaten.

I quietly made my way over to him.

"Leo" I whispered.

"Elise" He whispered back.

"Yes it's me, I'm here to get you out. Can you melt the bars?" I asked him.

He nodded "But I'll pass out after wards" he said.

"That's okay just try" I said.

He nodded and burst into flames.

I watched as he gripped the metal cage and it slowly started to melt.

After it was done Leo passed out, Luckily I caught him before he hit the ground.

"Nico lets go!" I shouted.

Nico soon appeared and said "hold on"

With that we were ripping through shadows.

When we got out on the other side Nico passed out and Leo was still unconscious.

I looked to see our surroundings and found the familiar half-blood hill.

"Help! please Help!" I shouted.

I was exhausted and I was on the verge of passing out but I wouldn't let myself I had to stay awake for help.

Luckily I saw two figures emerge from the Big house and run to us.

I felt arms around me and I fell insanely tired.

"It's okay little sis I got you" I heard Percy's voice say.

I loved hearing Percy's voice and I wanted to stay awake but sleep was to strong.

I was once again home.
