Louis had gotten a job offer at a hospital, which paid him a bigger chunk weekly. So Harry had told him to go for it and he did. Harry's apprenticeship had ended a week after he got out of the hospital and he was again, just hanging around his home. But instead of doing what he'd like when he liked, he had to drag around an oxygen tank for another two weeks.

Louis still felt awful about not finding Harry's pulmonary effusion beforehand. But Harry had assured him that he was fine and that he still loved him and how could he have known something was wrong if Harry wasn't complaining about it?

Harry sat alone a lot, as Niall rarely left the bedroom and Louis worked more hours so he could put in vacation when Harry wanted to go see his family.

Harry had started getting content with sitting at home. He was content with lying on the couch, spending time with himself and his baby. They hadn't discussed names, but Harry was just over ten weeks. It Wasn't time to discuss names yet, so Harry had taken to calling it honey.

Louis had gotten off slightly early and he'd had Harry's book bag slung over his shoulder as he'd left it in the car. He got off the lift and searched for his key on his key ring as a man and woman walked out of the apartment across the hall. Louis smiled politely and his eyes caught on the man's watch. Louis rose an eyebrow as he looked at it. "Hi, excuse me?" Louis stopped them. "I just noticed your watch. Did you happen to find it on the ground somewhere?" Louis asked.

"No. My girlfriend gave it to me." He said and impatiently waited for the conversation to be over.

"I just think it's my husbands. I had it custom ordered. It's got an emerald face and HT engraved on the side." Louis explained, showing the man what he was talking about. The man frowned a little and glanced at his girlfriend as he unsnapped the watch and handed it back.

"I'm sorry. She's a bit of a fucking klepto." He sighed. Louis just nodded a little bit.

"It's fine, yeah. He was just looking for it." Louis kept the watch in his hand and nodded at them both. "Name's Louis, give me a shout if you need anything." He said quietly and let himself into their apartment.

"Babe?" Louis called as he looked over the watch, shutting the door.

"Huh?" Harry looked over from where he was sitting on the couch.

"I found your watch." Louis held it up quietly, "some guy had it on in the hall."

"Are you sure it's mine and you didn't just take some guys watch?" Harry laughed quietly and stood up, gathering his tank and going over to Louis. He held his hand out for the watch and examined it himself.

"I'm sure. It has the HT and the 2009 on it." Louis said and smiled some, "what was he doing with your watch? Did you have them over or something?"

Harry looked it over and shook his head, "I haven't had anyone ove— oh.." Harry's eyes got big and then he sighed. "A while back there was a girl who was waiting on someone across the hall and I told her she could wait in here. S'why I was late to my doctor's appointment."

"You've been missing your watch for that long?!"

"I didn't even realise she'd taken it. Was there a girl with that guy?" Harry asked. Louis nodded. "Long stringy hair? Pretty thin?" Louis nodded again. "Her name's Rita. She's twenty-seven. I didn't think she'd steal my watch."

"She looked like a junkie, H. You let her into our home. You're lucky she didn't steal anything else."

"Don't lump everyone into one category, Lou. I never stole a thing."

"You weren't shooting up either."

"Louis."

"Harry. I'll report it to the police if I see them with anymore of our shit." Louis rose an eyebrow and poured himself a cup of tea and kissed Harry on the cheek, "how was your day? I missed you."

"I missed you too. I really did nothing today, Niall didn't come out to visit. I guess Liam's been calling a lot."

"Well, Liam does want them to get back together."

"I know."

-

"H?!" Niall called. Harry was sitting at the table and Louis was in the refrigerator. "Can you bring me some orange juice?"

Harry looked at Louis as Louis poured a glass. They'd yet to tell anyone about Harry's pregnancy. They were living the little dream themselves for a while. "Do you think he's doing okay? Just sitting around in there?"

"You do take him for walks once a day, don't you?" Louis asked and quirked up his eyebrow to him. Harry just nodded. "Then He should be fine, as long as he's eating healthily. We usually take his dinner in so we know what he's eating and what he's not."

"I'm just worried about him. He's an emotional mess right now."

"I know you're worried about him, but we have to let him figure out his own things in his own life at his own pace. It'll be okay though, darling. Don't worry about it." Louis shrugged and handed Harry the glass of orange juice, "H?"

"Yeah?" Harry looked at his husband.

"You're a really good friend." Louis sipped his tea, "I think you're a really good friend. So don't let any of these stressors sike you out. He appreciates your friendship more than anything."

"Thank you for that." Harry smiled at Louis and took the orange juice to Niall. "Here you are, sir." He handed it to Niall. "How are you feeling?"

"Honestly, I feel kind of awful. She's moving around a lot." Niall sipped his drink.

"Want me to get Lou?"

"No, no. It's alright. I'm fine."

-

Harry and Louis were lying on the couch when they had heard the knock on the door. "Who's at the dooor?" Harry groans quietly.

"I dunno, love. I'm sitting with you. Not outside." Louis chuckled and pushed Harry up some, getting up off the couch. Louis pulled his shirt on to cover the dark purple mark Harry had sucked onto his rib cage and he answered the door. He rose an eyebrow when he saw Liam. "Hey?"

"Hi." He shifted his weight from foot to foot, "Can I talk to Niall?" Liam asked quietly. Harry sat up on the couch and looked where his baby was.

"I dunno if he wants to talk to you." Louis shrugged and let him in.

"can you show me where he's at?" Liam asked quietly. Louis motioned to their bedroom door as he sat back down with Harry. Liam disappeared into the room.

"Think that'll go well?" Harry asked.

"Not a chance." Louis chuckled and kissed his head, "I love you, you know?"

"I love you too." Harry smiled and closed his eyes, "and honey loves you too."

Louis rolled his eyes and smiled, "I love it too."

"You ever gonna stop calling it it?"

"When it's bigger than my fingernail, maybe." Louis joked and kissed Harry as he laughed against his lips. Louis pulled away when he heard the door creak open and saw how pale Liam was. "You okay, mate?"

"I think it's baby time.." Liam whispered quietly. Louis chuckled and stood, sliding on his shoes and he grabbed his bag.

"Let's go have us a baby then."

-

Within that hour Louis had delivered a little girl, in whom they named, Eleanor Grace. Louis was partial to the name. Eight minutes after pulling baby number one out, he'd pulled a second, a baby boy they named, Taylor James.

He couldn't believe that he'd missed the second baby in the ultrasound, but sometimes twins liked to hide behind each other. Louis was starting to believe that maybe this line of work isn't the best for him.

But that didn't stop Harry from making jokes, hope you didn't miss a second little honey.
