<Now Playing: Out Of Tune Piano by MisterWives>
The drive back to the Mansion was painless. It was deep in the night, and it was Hank's turn to drive. Evangelina was asleep in the back seat, huddling under Alex's jacket. Her face was serious and strained, the bruises on her face clearly visible. She had been outside for so long. She felt the calamity surrounding the two men, she felt the aura around them. Little did they know, Evangelina could manipulate that aura with a snap of her fingers. Yet, she didn't want to. It felt nice to feel comfort. It felt
warm.In her slumber, she relaxed and embraced the comfort of the heater. Alex looked back with a small grin. "You know, I'm slowly getting used to saving kids every now and then." He chuckled dryly. Hank tossed his shoulders up in a shrug.
"It's nice to see that we help them. In and out of the school." Hank spoke quietly, not wishing to wake the sleeping Evangelina. Havoc pulled off his signature smirk and laughed gently.
"It sure as hell does. Brings back old memories doesn't it, Bozo?" He replied, elbowing McCoy. Hank scoffed but nodded admirably.

Hours passed by slowly. Evangelina was now wide awake and picking at the dirt under her nails out of boredom. She was a very impatient girl, and sitting in a small car with two random strangers wasn't her favorite way of passing the time. Her hands were numb but she couldn't help but gaze out at the passing trees. Evangelina had never really seen trees as green and tall like the ones she was witnessing. Back in her home, all there ever was were palm trees or short ones. "You like them?" Alex pointed out as he smiled gently towards the teenager from the front mirror.
"¿Los árboles? Trees, I mean. I'm really sorry." Evangelina spoke, correcting herself quickly. Alex raised his eyebrow then nodded his head.
"No need to apologize," Hank replied. "I take it you're not fluent in English?" The teacher peered forward, he didn't want the girl to feel mortified. Evangelina answered with a yes.
She sighed, "Words can be so hard. Even the simplest of things can slip out of my mind." Her ginger laugh filled the car, she felt the need to explain herself. "I've only lived in the US for a few months. But language hasn't, and will never, hold me back," she continued. Her large dark eyes were somewhat hopeful.
Hank and Alex exchanged a small look before Alex leaned back slightly in his passenger seat. "Well no need to worry about it, Evangelina. Trust me, this school has students from all over the place." He told her. She clenched her fists tightly and grinned.
"Evita, you can call me Evita. I have a feeling I'm gonna need to trust you two," Evita spoke suddenly. "You can use that name." She advised with a sigh. Hank and Alex nodded with light smiles.
