Christmas is eight days away, everyone is freaking out because we haven't set up the tree, and I am stuck wearing this ugly sweater. Hazel said she made it for me, which is nice, but the thing is just ugly. It's green with red snowflakes in it and a big fat guy in the middle wearing red and white. At first I didn't exactly know who he was, but after Hazel, Piper, Frank, Jason, Annabeth, and Percy all explained to me who Santa Clause was I understood. I found it odd that parents would tell their children stories of a stalker/pedophile, I think parents should focus more on locking all their doors and windows than telling their kids about the creepy fat guy that "brings you presents." More like watches you 24/7 and then one night a year he gets off his fat ass and comes to your house so he can watch you sleep.
Creep.
I told Hazel that I didn't want to wear a sweater that was basically promoting a pedophile, but she gave me the puppy dog eyes. The Santa on the sweater looked like a deformed pig on two legs. The nose was all awkward, the eyes weren't even in the same general area on his face, and his mouth was wide open like he was smiling or giving a, you know what nevermind.
Jason and Percy both got me out of my cabin to help set up the Christmas tree, so now I'm walking with them to the dining pavilion.
"I'm shocked that Hazel didn't make you a black sweater, she made mine blue." Percy said. I nodded.
"Nico what do you want for Christmas? I can ask Santa!" Jason put an arm around my shoulders.
"I don't want a pedophile knowing what I want for this stupid holiday." I grumbled.
"Well what do you want Mrs. Clause to bring you then?"
"Wait the fat pedophile has a wife?" I stopped walking.
"How do you not know any of this stuff Nico? What do you want for Christmas?" Percy poked my sides.
"I don't want anything." I muttered.
"Ugh you're lame di Angelo." Jason whined.
"Are you two like drunk or something?" I asked.
"No, it's called Christmas spirit Nico!"
"Well get away from me, I don't want any of it." I mumbled. Jason laughed. We got to the dining pavilion and say the tree resting on one of the tables. Jason and Percy walked over to it and each grabbed a side of the tree.
"Nico we kind of need you help here." Percy said, his voice muffled by the pine tree. I muttered a few things about how stupid this was before walking over and helping them stand the tree up. Jason fixed the thing that supported the tree and stepped back.
"We should have put the star on top first." I said.
"Well Nico, you're small. Climb the tree and put the star on top please." Jason gave me the star. I sighed and started climbing the tree.
"Isn't there a latter or something that I could use?" I complained.
"I'm sure there is, but this is very funny to watch." Percy chuckled.
"Ha ha Percy very funny." I grumbled and I continued to climb.
When I put the star on top I felt the tree shift slightly.
"Um guys? I don't think I'm going to be able to get-" The tree started falling and I started screaming. I never landed on the hard ground though, I landed on Percy and Jason instead.

A/N Short and shitty, sorry. The next couple of chapters and kind of going to be shorter and slightly funny maybe just because I have this idea in my mind for this which is preventing me from being able to write anything... Oops. It's kind of hard to write about Christmas when it's July. Ahh anyway, if you have a twitter and would like to talk to me you should @ zanethemcshizle ...
