Summer Memories

Chapter 1- "on wednsdays we wear skirts!"

"On wednesday, we wear skirts!" I said over the phone to Azrel. "I gotta go El, i'll see you soon!" We said our goodbyes and hung up.

"Head in the clouds, got no weight on my shoulders. I should be wiser, and realize that i've got!" I sang while i picked out my clothes for the day.

I pulled out my favorite shirt that my dad gave to me a bit back. The text on the shirt said 'Always be yourself, unless you can be a unicorn. Then always be a unicorn!' It had a rainbow unicorn under the text.

I tugged on a plain lilac skirt and tucked my shirt in it. I slipped on some plain white high coverse and ran to my bathroom to do my hair and makeup.

I quickly straightend my hair and smiled at how long it was. I applied a coat of my coral lipstick on and put on some cat eye eyeliner.

I walked out of the bathroom and danced around for a bit. I soon decided to get some food. I opened my fridge and it was empty.....STARBUCKS TIME!

I turned on Ed Sheerans new album and drove to starbucks. My phone buzzed saying i had a text from Azrel, while i was in line.

Az- 'ELLIE OH MY GOD 5SOS ARE COMING TO NEWFOUNDLAND!'

Me- 'Only now you need to find out where to in Newfoundland!'

Azrel is a gigantic fan of 5sos. Ever since she found out about them she hasent shut up about them. I got my cotton candy frappuccino and got back in my car.

Me and my friend Dane work at the same campground so we always drive together. Later on he finally picked me up, we loaded up my stuff and left my house.

The campground has multiple workers each summer. We're a little fam jam, so barely anyone gets fired or hired. Our boss isnt the nicest boss in the world.

The workers have a little area that is workers only. The area contains some cabins that are shared by two people. For example me and Az share one.

Dane snapped me out of my little thought bubble by anouncing that we arrived. I jumped out of the car and ran around.

"El, what are you doing?" Dane asked.

"Jumping cause i'm happy!" I explained. He laughed as i ran to my little cabin awaiting my reunion with my bffl.

I'm kinda glad i got work tomorrow because i get to meet so many new people! Working here is always the best! Minus the strict boss..

A/n- Hey people! This is the first chapter of SM! I'm kelsey and i'll be writing all the chapters that are odd like 1,3,5, etc. This chapter is just a short introduction to the character i will be writing as.
