Chapter 35- Audition

Dane make sure luna and artemis have food and water, oh and clean their litter box too!" I ordered dane, over the phone.

"Yes mom," he replied, "i gotta go now, veronica is making me work you shifts."

"I love youuuu" i said dragging out the last word.

"Yeah, yeah." I could see the eye roll. He hung up and i went to get ready.

Today i have my audition, then im dragging ash around, to look at apartments.

I slipped on black and white, tribal print skater dress, and paired some black oxfords with it. I straightend my hair and left it down.

I applied eyeliner to my lids then waited for ash. Once he finished we got a taxi and headed to Julliard.

I must say julliard is extremely beautiful on the outside. I grabbed ashs hand and dragged him towards the big building.

"Imagine coming here everyday." I said.

"Its beautiful." Ash responded. I nodded and went inside. Its just as beautiful on the inside as it is on the outside.

We followed the arrows to the theatre, so, i could sign in. I signed in and waited for my turn.

"You nervous?" Ash asked.

"Not really! I performed a lot when i was young."

"Im proud of you." He said, looking at me.

"And im proud of you," I replied, "You make lots of people happy, by being yourself, and thats including me."

Instead of saying anything, he reached down and kissed me. I smiled into the kiss and kissed back.

Someone called my name and told me it was time.

"Good luck, i love you!" Ash said.

"Thanks, i love you too!"

A person brang me onto a stage and told me to take a mic. I took the mic and smiled at the judge people.

The person that brang me in sat down with the others.

"So, you're Ellie Smith."

"Yep!" I replied.

"Okay, you can start your audition with your german leid."

I nodded and started. After i finished that song, i continued on and finished my audition.

"That was great! Thank you ellie." One of them said. I thanked them and walked off the stage and out the door.

Ash was looking down at his phone, so, i ran over and suprized him.

"How did it go?" He asked.

"Great, I sang all my peices and then they thanked me!" I exclaimed. I dont really get nervous around stuff that includes singing, because i sang at a lot of festivals and concerts as a kid.

"Thats good! What do you want to do now?" He asked.

"Umm, theres a couple apartments i want to look at, but first we can get some lunch." I replied. He nodded and took my hand.

We walked out of the building and walked down the street. We drove past a little café earlier, so we walked there for lunch.

We arrived at the café and walked in. We went up to the front counter, to order our food.

After we got our food, we went and sat down at a little table.

About five minutes later, a little girl around 7 years old, ran up towards ash and smiled.

"Can you sign my book, please?" She asked ash. Her voice is adorable!

"Sure!" He took the book and signed it for her.

The little girl thanked him and looked at me. She handed me the book and pen.

"Can you sign it too?" She asked. Before i could tell her 'yes' a girl around my age ran towards us.

"Sorry if shes bothering you! Shes just really hard to control!" She said.

"Im ellie," i said, "and this is my boyfriend, ashton."

"Im teo, and this is my niece, maybelle," she said, "shes a little hyper, because i bribed her with sugar."

"You bribed her with sugar?" Ash asked her.

"Yea, i was forced to bring her with me to my audition at julliard."

"I just finished my audition over there! Im applying for vocal." I said.

"Im applying for acting! We should hang out sometime, if we both get in!"

I nodded, and we exchanged numbers. I quickly signed maybelles book and handed back to her.

"Thank you!" She screamed,  running towards teo. They both waved goodbye and walked away.

"Well that was different." I said, to ash. He nodded and finished eating. I finished my food, then we headed out to look at some apartments.

"You know what sucks?" Ash asked, as i looked around a little apartment.

"What?"

"I have too go on tour soon. I wont be able to see you to often." He pouted.

"Well, when you have breaks, you can come vist. But other than that, we can skype and call each other." I said, trying to cheer him up.

"I think we perform here once."

"Well, i'll come watch, then we can hang out after that!" I cant cheer people up at all. 

"I'll try to see you as much as possible, but promise we'll stay together." He said. I nodded and kissed him.

We finished looking at apartments, then headed back to the hotel. I was laying down on the bed next to ash, when my phone rang.

"Hello?"

"Is this ellie?"

"Yes, how may i help you?"

"This is julliard, we would like for you too come back tomorrow morning for a callback." That was the best thing i've ever heard, other than ash saying 'i love you.'

I jumped around and started dancing.

"What made you so happy?" Ash asked.

"JULLIARD CALLED ME FOR A CALLBACK!" I screamed, still jumping up and down.

He laughed and pulled me down, so i fell on the bed. I laughed and cuddled into his bare chest. I started fading away into a deep sleep.
