Chapter 6- leaving

I wake up to a new alarm this morning. 'Afire love' by ed sheeran.

I quickly glanced at the clock that read 11:20. Wait. 11:20!!! SHIT! I have 10 minutes to get ready and be at work.

I jumped up, and ran to my closet and grabbed the first two items of clothing I saw, which just so happened to be my Coral crop top with a tie in the back, and a pair of high waisted shorts.

I threw that on and since I had no time for makeup i only put on concealer, powder, and eyeliner, and ran out of the bathroom holding my mascara and lipstick in one hand, and was brushing my hair with the other.

I threw my hair into a high ponytail and put a bobby pin in my bangs to create a tiny poof, and at the same time threw my extra makeup, phone, phone charger, headphones, a bit of Money, and a few granola bars into my bag, snapped the magnet together and threw it over my shoulder and across my body.

I ran back to the bathroom to put my hairbrush away, which only consisted of throwing into the bathroom, and that resulted into a loud bang. Whoops?

I ran out of the cabin slipping on a pair of flip flops, and ran to my golf cart, jumped in, and speeded to the store.

I got there at exactly 11:30 and looked around, not seeing Ellie... Thinking of it, I didn't see her at the cabin either.

So I started to type a message to her telling her to Come, but In the middle of the sentence I received a call.

"Hello?"

"Hey there Azrel!" I heard Luke's firmiliar voice

"Hi, luke, can I call you back?"

"Uhh, sure, but I was only wondering if I could stop by the store, your working right?"

"Yes I am working, and sure drop by. I'll see you in a bit. Bye!!" I rushed, hung up and quickly got back to typing my message to Ellie.

After I sent the message, I quickly applied my mascara and lipstick, and threw it back into my bag, and as soon as I did that, luke walked into the store.

"Hey" he said while taking a seat on a stool on the other side of the counter

"Hey" I said back

There was a little bit of a silence, until I heard a well known voice scream "OH MY GOD AZREL, HONEY, IS THAT YOU?!?!"

I looked up to see the face of my best friend, Alex, walking into the store, with Dane by his side. I quickly jumped up and ran around the counter, and hugged him as tight as I could

"Ahh, Alex, I haven't seen you in forever!" I exclaimed while kissing his cheek

"I know! wow you have grown up! girl! Look at your hair!! Did you get extensions?" He asked

"Nope!" I Replied "all natural!"

"And, who is this lovely young boy?" He asked walking towards luke, who looked like he was fairly uncomfortable.

"This is luke." I said, walking behind the counter again

"Hello there luke" Alex said sticking out his hand "I'm Alex, Azrels best friend"

"Umm, who said that you were my best friend?" I said sarcastically

"Ouch. That hurt" he said, placing his hand on his heart

And I just smiled back

Before I knew it there was a lunatic jumping over the counter, and Almost knocking into me. Never mind. It was just Ellie.
