Summer Memories

Chapter 9- My babies!

Last night ash stayed the night at my cabin. I put pillows between us so nothing could happen, but yet when i wake up his arm is laid across my waist holding onto me. The pillows are sprawled out on the ground as he pulls me closer. I wiggle out of his grasp and get out of bed.

I went to the kitchen and started cooking some bacon and eggs. By the time i was done, ash still wasent up. I walked into my to my room and shook him awake. He bolted up with a startled look on his face.

"I cooked bacon and eggs for breakfast. Im going to buy two cats today. So after breakfast im heading out, do you wanna come?" I said. He agreed to coming along and we went out to eat.

After we ate, he went to his trailer to change and i went to my room. I paired my short sleeve, daisy crop top with my plain black skater skirt and slipped it on. I pulled on some ruffled socks and tied up my white high top converse.

I put my my hair in a high ponytail and grabbed my wallet. I sat down and waited for ash. Since i don't have my car here, i asked dane last night if i could take his. He said yes and he dropped it off late last night.

The doorbell rang, i jumped up and answered it. Ash was standing there waiting for me. I smiled and walked out of the cabin and locked the door. I unlocked the car and got in. When ash got in, i started the car and drove out of the park. I put my music on and drove down the highway.

Im getting to kittens from the same litter, a little black one and a white one. I already picked out names for them. The black female kitten is named Luna, and the white male kitten is going to be named Artemis. I got those names from one of my favorite shows called Sailor Moon.

"So what are you gonna name your cats?" Ash asked. "Luna and Artemis." I replied. He nodded and sang along to the music. "I love this song!" I spoke. 'I'm yours' is my absolute favorite song. He smiled and kept singing.

The car ride went by in a flash, i was in front of the SPCA in no time. I quickly got out of the car and ran into the shelter. I went into the office and signed what i needed to sign. I payed and went to get my kittens.

I picked up Luna and ash picked up Artemis. "Aw my babies are soooo adorable!" I squeled. Ash chuckled and passed Artemis to me. I sat on the floor with Luna on my lap and Artemis in my arms.

I got ash to take a picture and i uploaded it to instagram. We brang the cats to the car and started our drive back.

"You can put a song on if you want." I offered. He scrolled through my songs. Another of my favorite songs started playing and i danced along, 'Break free' by Ariana Grande. I sang along and also did the high notes. Yea i sing..... but i dont like singing in front of people.

"This is, the part when i say i dont want ya. I stronger than i've been before. This is, the part when i break free. Cause i cant resist it no more." I sang, jamming out. The drive flew by so fast. In no time i was back at the cabin.

I set all the kitten stuff up and sat on the floor. I bought this gigantic bed from costco, its the size a newfoundland dog would need. Newfoundland dogs are big dogs, when i say big i mean really big.

After i settled everything away, i collapsed on my couch and turned 'attack on titan' on. I watched the whole season and sometime during it i passed out with my kittens asleep on my stomach.
