Chapter 8- They are Called Timbits!!!

I crawled out of bed at 7:00, its way to early for this. and sent a quick text to luke and alex telling them to get up and get ready to go! My plan was to be left by 8:00, as the latest.

I was too lazy so i just threw on some exercise shorts and a tank top, and threw a Hollister sweater on over that.

I threw my hair into a high messy bun, and dabbed a little bit of concealer on my face, along with a coat of mascara, and walked to the kitchen.

I grabbed a granola bar, i say we will be stopping somewhere to get food. And while munching on that i wrote a quick note to Ellie and told her that i was already left.

I then grabbed my suitcase, purse and phone, and headed to the car.

First i parked in lukes campsite, I jumped out of my car, and tapped lightly on the door.

After about a minute of waiting, luke quietly opened the door, and handed me his bag. And we headed back to the car.

Then i pulled into Alex's campsite and mumbled a quick "ill be right back" to luke, and went up to his door, and pounded as hard as i could, only to hear a "one minute" no, i could not wait 'one minute' we have to leave now.

I barged into Alex's camper to see him standing in front of the mirror putting his hands through is hair, i grabbed his bag, then grabbed him by the wrist, and started dragging him towards the door

"WAIT! NO! I NEED MY GEL!!!!" he exclaimed.

I walked over, grabbed his gel, then went back to hauling him to the car.

after everybody was settled in, i started driving.

15 minutes later, alex was asleep and luke was just sitting, watching the road.

then i heard a firmiliar tune on the radio, and quickly turned it up.

luke looked over to me in surprise as he heard the tune of his song 'never be' flood the car.

I looked back at him and smiled, this was probably one of my favourites on the album. And started singing to the chorus

"we'll never be as young as we are now

its time to leave this old black and white town

lets cease the day, lets run away

By the end of the chorus, i recognized that luke was singing along with me

I smiled and pulled into tim's

"do you want to go in? or go through the drive-through?

"we'll do we have a certain time to be there for?"

"not really"

"well, lets go in"

"okay!"

i jumped out of the car and opened the back door, revealing a sleeping Alex. And i knew exactly how to wake him up..

"OH MY GOD A SALE ON HAIR GEL!!!!" i screamed

alex jumped up and bolted out the door, and when he recognized there was no hair gel sale, he just looked at me with a death stare

"we're getting tim's" i said to him

"fine."

We all walked into tim's and ordered

I got a large ice capp, and a oreo dipped donut and bought a 20 pack of tim bits for all of us.

Alex got a green tea, with a raspberry shot, and a chocolate chip muffin.

Luke has no idea what they sold, so he just got a hot chocolate and a cookie.

We walked to a table and started eating.

"What are those?" luke asked pointing to the box of tim bits.

"Here" i said taking one out of the box, and gave it to him "Try it"

He bit into it "oh, i know what these are now!"

Me and alex shoved timbits into our mouths as luke finished his

"Wow. That was a really good donut hole!!" Luke exclaimed

Me and Alex spit our food everywhere and screamed "WHAT DID YOU JUST CALL IT!?!?"

"Donut hole?" Luke said, almost like it was a question

"NO!" I screamed "THEY ARE CALLED TIMBITS!! HOW WOULD YOU LIKE IT IF WE CAME AND CALLED YOUR CRUMPETS LITTLE PEICES OF DOUGH!?!?"

"Ummm, well first, sorry, and second, I'm not from England." He stated

"Oh...Well whatever, you know what I mean!!!"

*1 hour later*

So, right now we are in the car, and almost home, both luke and alex are sleeping, so me being me i just had to take a picture of luke...whoops?

I pulled into the nearest starbucks drive through and got myself a small cotton candy frappuchinno. And headed to the nearest mall, i needed a new skating sweater.

I pulled into the parking lot of the mall, and tried waking luke up.

"luke" i almost whispered shaking him lightly

"yes" he replied opening his eyes and sitting up strait

"im going into the mall, do you want to come or stay here?" i asked

"well i guess ill come in, is alex coming?" we looked back at alex

"more than likely"

i walked out of the car, and opened his door

"hey alex, were going shoppi-" i got cut off by alex jumping up and starting towards the mall

Me and luke started walking towards him

"c'mon guysssss!" he said dragging out the last word "there might be a sale on scarves, or beanies, or sweaters!!!!"

after making it into the mall i spotted a bluenotes and headed towards it, but of course alex beat me there, running and throwing his hands around, like a 4 year old, and he was making this anxious/exited sounding scream.

As soon as i walked in, i spotted alex, already with his arms full.

I rolled my eyes and started towards the sweaters.

As soon as i got there i found a cute, exercise sweater in a variety of different colors, black, pink, light blue, dark blue, coral, green, yellow, red, and white

I picked up a black, pink, dark blue, coral, and red.

Then a sign caught my eye above the rack saying 'all sweaters for $5'

I silently screamed, and went to the spandex shorts which were on for only $3! I grabbed 4 pairs, i then headed towards the exercise shirts, that were also $5

I took 3,started towards the cash. And quickly paid.

I looked around and didnt see alex...shit. i was too late.

I pulled out my phone and texted him, telling him that i was done and to meet us by the door.

"so." luke started "this skating thing, are you coaching, or are you being taught?"

"well, its complicated.. im teaching for most of it, but im having a session at the beginning where im being taught" I explained

"oh.." luke said as we reached the door

"yep. now to wait for alex.."
