Summer Memories

Chapter 61- Last day.

Today is my last day of work. Im truly sad about leaving the park tomorrow. I've discussed apartments with ariel and we decided to ask teo to share an apartment with us. I asked teo a couple nights ago and she agreed.

Teo dropped by the apartment eariler the week and bought it. Dont worry me and ariel are paying her our split of the bill. 

I changed into a white bandeau with straps and a pair of baggy floral print shorts that are kind of like pajama shorts. I slipped on a oversized crochet sweater.

After tying up my white low cut converse i fixed my hair into a bun. I applied some eyeliner and light pink lipstick.

I put my phone in my little back pocket on my shorts and went into the living room/kitchen. I grabbed a banana from the counter and sat on one of the barstools.

I started eating the banana and scrolling through my instagram feed. Az sat down next to me munching away on her granola bar.

"Its sad that i have my last shift in five minutes. I still have to put all my photos and shiz onto my laptop. Im not ready to go to university." I ranted to az as i threw out the banana peel.

"I know, i downloaded my photos to my laptop last night, it was a little emotional, i agree on the uni thing, im not ready either." She agreed.

I nodded, "i need to get to work but first of all i nees my laptop!"

I ran to my room and shoved my laptop into a plain denim bookbag thing. I swung the bag onto my shoulder and ran out to the front door.

I shouted a quick 'bye!' and ran out the door. Azs golf cart was the closet so i got into her golf cart.

"IM IN AZS GOLF CART BROOM BROOM!" I screamed backing the golf cart up.

"GET OUT ME GOLF CART!" Az screamed from the front door.

"Ah." I frowned. I got out of her golf cart and ran to mine.

I drove to the store and got out of my golf cart. I walked into the store and sat behind the counter.

Dane walked in from the backroom.

"Im gonna miss you." Dane said hugging me.

"I promise to skype you every three days." I promised.

"Three days?"

"I have to skype az and the boys too. But mostly ash and az." He nodded and let go of me.

"I love you bestie." He said.

"I love you too." And then he left.

Dane already got off work last night. He stayed till today to say bye to me. I took out my laptop and started transfering picture from my phone over onto my laptop.

"Hi babe whats up?" Ash said from the doorway. I nearly started crying as i looked at him.

He ran over to me, "are you okay? You look like you're about too cry."

I shook my head, "i dont want to leave. Im not just leaving the park, im leaving you. I cant stand to think that twenty four hours from now i'll be on a plane flying away from you. You changed my life in so many ways. Im one of the happiest and luckiest human beings to stand on earth and within a day i'll be flying away from the source of my happiness." By the end of my rant i could feel the tears falling down my cheeks.

"Babe," he started, "even miles apart we will see each other. It may be on a laptop screen but we can still see each other. No matter what you do, i'll be there for you. When you're on that plane tomorrow just remember that i love you with all my heart and we'll see each other on the holidays."

I hugged him, "i usally dont get emotional." I said pulling away.

He wiped away my tears with his thumbs and kissed me softly on my lips, "i love you." He mumbled against my lips

"I love you too." I stated pulling away.

We looked through the photos after i transfered them onto my laptop. Theres picture of us in new york, us at the ball, us at the birthday supper, us dressed up for laborween, and just random pictures.

I could see the tears forming in his eyes as the picture popped up on the screen.

"Im going to miss you," he said trying to blink away his tears.

"Im going to miss you too."

After my shift ended we went to the cabin and hung out with everyone. Its going to be a long time until we can do this again.

"Im gonna miss you guys." I said as i sat on the floor.

Michael spoke up, "Were gonna miss you too ellie."

The rest of the night we either chatted or watched a movie. Az soon brought up the topic that calums nudes were leaked.

"Seriosly calum?" I asked him.

"At least the fans arent begging me for my nudes any more!" He said trying to make the topic less serious. I sighed and laid back.

Im going to miss az and the boys like crazy. Its totally not going to be the same. I still need to finish packing....whoops?

I excused myself and went to my room to finished my little bit of packing. Eventually everything was done. Im still leaving some clothes here since i'll be back next summer anyway.

All i need to do tomorrow is put luna and artemis in their kennel things. Yes im taking my cats. None of the girls are allergic so why leave them here with a friend of mine?

I went back into the living room and sat down in my spot. I just want to spend the most time i can with them until i have to leave.

I can already tell that the goodbye between me and ash at the airport tomorrow is going to be very cheesey.

A/n- hola potato nuggets! Faith was rolling around on the ground while playing air guitar to the american idiot cover by 5sos last night, it was scary.... well other than that calums nudes were leaked. He even addmited that is was his nudes. I found it funny.

Sadly this is my second last chapter in this book. Summer memories does end this sunday *tear rolls down my cheek*. Me and faith have talked so much about ellie and azrel and how much we relate to them. At the beggining of this year i came up with the idea of writing a book together with faith. I never thought that i would love a book so much amd spend a whole summer writing for it. Anyways enough of the sappy stuff, im confused on who calum sent the nudes too in the first place.
