Chapter 34- Interview

When I wake up, I hear Clara and luke talking,so I keep my eyes closed and start to eavesdrop.

"Don't lie to me, hemmings. I know you like her"

"Fine, yes, I like her, a lot. There. Are you happy!?"

"Yes."

"But, you need to promise me. That you won't tell her. I don't want to ruin our friendship."

"Fine, but you got to stop being a wimp, ask her out."

I heard a sigh from luke

"Even if I do, it would be difficult, She's going to San Francisco, I'm going to be super busy with touring, and recording and stuff, and I don't think she wants that kind of relationship"

Hmm, interesting.

I decided that was enough eavesdropping and started to move around a little before opening my eyes.

Clara went back to her seat, and luke looked at me.

"You didn't hear any of that, did you?" He asked

"Any of what?" I decided it was best that he didn't know.

He became less tense "nothing."

"Okay"

I handed luke a headphone, and turned on my playlist, with all of the 5sos songs, all of their covers. And a few other songs, but mostly 5sos. Just to annoy him a little.

I heard the strumming to luke and calums cover of 'the a team' and turned to smile at him.

"Oh my god, turn it off, I was terrible!" He exclaimed

"Excuse me"

He put his hands up "Just saying"

"This was the song that made me fall in love with you guys!!!" I exclaimed

He went silent before he whispered "oh"

We finally landed and got off the plane.

"Okay, so once we get to the hotel, we have about 7 hours until we have to leave for my interview!" I looked at my planner "then Clara has her interview strait after mine, so we shouldn't be long, and luke, you just have to sit and wait, there might be a minute or two that you will be alone. Okay, everyone got it?" I looked around at Clara and luke.

"We also have to do a quick photo shoot, so be ready" I looked at Clara

"Sounds good" Clara gave two thumbs up

"What she said"

"Wow"

I walked into the hotel room and plopped onto the bed.

Since Clara had a interview, she had her own room, so instead of luke having to get his own room I asked him if he wanted to share a room with me. He agreed.

"I'm hungry" luke complained walking to the phone

"What are you doing?" I asked

"Ordering room service."

I carefully hung up my dress, and placed my heels under it. Along with my other clothes and shoes.

After finally putting away all my clothes, the food finally came, and i must admit, I was starving.

Me and luke sat at the table with our food, and ate.

"Are you nervous" i heard him ask

I shook my head "not really, i got this"

Not too long after, we were finished, and Clara came skipping into our room, with a bag, ready for the photo shoot.

"Are you going to come with us? Because you really don't have to" I said to luke

"Nah, that's fine, I'll come. Just in case you need any help"

We drove to a place a little ways away from the hotel, and I started setting up my camera, while luke helped on the lights and stuff.

I told Clara what to do, and she did exactly that, models like this make photography so much easier.

"Great. Now tilt your head that way"

"Yep, now walk that way"

"Go this way"

"Spin around for me"

"Straiten that leg"

"Put your arm like this"

I told her to do a bunch of things, and soon, we were finished.

Clara went to the car and changed into her normal outfit. While I stayed back and took some pictures of the scenery.

When Clara came back, I made her lie down, and spread her hair out. So I could put flowers and stuff in it, and take some pictures.

Soon enough, we were finally done.

We drove back to the hotel, and I printed the pictures onto some special paper, while getting ready.

I started with my makeup.

I did a smokey eye, and red lipstick, along with the usual, foundation, concealer, and mascara, but this time did something a little different, and added blush

I curled my hair, and finally slipped on my dress and heels.

I placed earrings in my ears, and threw on a necklace and a few rings.

When I walked out of the bathroom, Clara was sitting on my bed waiting for me.

I grabbed my portfolio, and left.

Luke was already waiting for us in the car, when I jumped into the passenger seat.

I made sure everything was in my portfolio while we drove. Luckily everything was.

We pulled in front of a large beautiful building

"Wow" I said "this place is gorgeous!"

I hopped out of the car and made my way inside, and found a sign that said 'Interview room this way' in fancy writing, with an arrow.

I followed the hallway until I found a person

"Hello. Are you here for an interview?" The lady asked

"Yes I am" I smiled

"Name?"

"Azrel baker"

She looked through her clipboard before looking back up and smiling

"Thank you, take a seat"

I sat down and watched as Clara went through the same process. Along with her explaining that luke was only a friend.

"Azrel baker" I heard someone call from the end of the hall

I peeked down to see another person with a clipboard

"It's your turn, honey"

I got up and looked back at Clara and luke

They both smiled and luke gave me a thumbs up, along with a little bit of eyebrow dancing.

I giggled, and started down the hallway, clutching my portfolio.

I was ushered into a room, with two chairs one was empty, and another contained a lady.

I quickly looked back and thanked the lady with the clipboard and walked towards the lady in the chair

"Azrel" she said. Which made me jump a little "take a seat"
