Chapter twenty-five

~Lexee's P.O.V~

[after school and after detention]

All of the lessons for the day are over. Finally. I trotted through the hallway over to my locker. A few students that were also in detention were rushing to get their stuff and sprint as fast as they can out of school. I'm not the one to blame them. I calmly opened my locker and grabbed my stuff that I needed. I was taking my time, not wanting to rush anything like others. I closed my locker with a bit of force and started walking out of this hell hole.

As I walked towards the gates I saw Jade waving to me as she got inside of Cameron's car. I slightly waved back and just shrugged. Once I reached the gates of the school, I was surprised when I saw Ethan just standing there, waiting. His gaze averted to my presence and a smile grew onto his face.

"Hey, beautiful." He said as he planted a soft kiss onto my lips. The feeling that I get from this will never get old, I swear.
"Hello, stranger." I said in a joking manner and took his hand in mine. He chuckled and interlaced our fingers together causing me to weakly smile.
"Wanna chill at my place?" Ethan suggested as we walked away from school. Honestly, hanging out with Ethan sounds like a great idea. I just nodded my head and pulled out of my phone to inform my mother about it.

To Mommy ❤ : i'm hanging out with Jade. I'll be back later.

From Mommy ❤ : okay, see you soon, love ❤

I mentally rolled my eyes at her trying to be nice to me.
I pressed on Jade's number to send her a quick text.

To JadeBug 💞👑 : yo, if my mom calls, tell her I'm with u.

To JadeBug 💞👑 : Ethan. Ily, bai

I lightly chuckled at her last text message to me and slipped my phone back in my pocket.

"Does Lisa even know that we're dating?" I randomly asked Ethan. His eyes went a bit wide but then returned to normal.
"Technically, no. But, she'll love us together obviously." He answered my question with a smirk.
"How are you planning to tell her?" I asked again, out of curiosity. He shrugged.
"Not me, we. We'll just walk inside holding hands. She'll get the idea instantly." He simply said with a chuckle escaping his mouth. I nodded, showing him that I understood.

We continued to walk and after a few more minutes we reached the Dolan Household.

[At the Dolan Household]

"Sweetie, is that you?" Lisa's soft voice echoed from the kitchen as me and Ethan entered the house.
"Yup, and I have my girlfriend with me." Ethan said loud enough for her to hear. I felt a hint of blush rise up to my cheeks. He introduced me as his girlfriend. We heard some shuffling from the kitchen and then we heard her footsteps coming closer to us.
"Ethan, I swear if it's another one of your girl toys I will ki-" Lisa spoke in a fast pace but once she saw me near his side her jaw dropped to the floor. I just smiled widely at her.
"Am I dreaming?!" She yelled in joy as she pulled me in a tight and warm hug. I released my hand from Ethan's to return her the hug, just as tight.
"I thought this day would never come!" She said, clearly excited. Me and Ethan lightly chuckled as me and Lisa released each other from our grip.
"Well, it has come." Ethan simply said to his mother with a smile on his face.
"Sweetie, I'm glad you finally came to your senses and chose the right girl." Lisa said to her son causing me to silently giggle.
"I hope you guys last! I'll call you for dinner soon. Now go! Shoo!" She said and pushed us towards the stairs. We laughed and started walking up the stairs, to Ethan's bedroom.
"I told you she'll love us being together." Ethan spoke softly as we came inside his room.
"You were right after all." I said and dropped my backpack beside his bedroom door as he closed it.

I went towards his bed and slowly crawled up on it. I plopped down on my stomach and relaxed. Ethan's bed is the comfiest bed I've ever layed my body on, I swear. I heard Ethan chuckle. I soon felt some pressure being added on to the bed, meaning he decided to lay down as well. I soon felt his fingertips gently draw random shapes on my back. This felt so good. I adjusted myself so I was now laying on my side, my body was facing his. He placed his hands on my hips and forcefully pulled me up to him, I was now laying on top of him.

"Hi." I said softly as I looked at his beautiful, shinning eyes.
"Hey there." He also spoke softly to me. He connected our lips together, causing a light shock wave go through my whole body. I smiled into the kiss, causing us to pull away.

I placed my head on his chest as it rised up and back down slowly. The sound of the beating of his heart made me calm. I felt his upper-body move a bit, I didn't budge to move though. I soon felt a very light weight being on top of my body. I looked up at his face to see him yawning. I weakly smiled.

"You're tired?" I asked him softly as he adjusted the blanket that was on top of us.
"Mhm." He said as he closed his eyes and snaked his arms around my waist, touching my left butt cheek as well. I didn't mind, knowing that it was his touch and he wouldn't do anything to hurt me.
"Lets just take a nap. The door isn't locked, so when dinner's ready, either my mom or Gray will come to wake us up." He said, his voice becoming a bit raspy. I softly planted a kiss on his chest and placed my head back on it.
"Okay, get some rest, baby." I spoke quietly as I also closed my eyes. The beating of his heart was soothing me.

We both drifted off to sleep in eachother's embrace.
