~Lexee's P.O.V~

[After school (and detention)]

"You still owe me a chocolate bar." Jade randomly said as we walked out of the school.
"Oh yeah." I said with a chuckle as I remembered the text message.
"You're not leaving New Jersey before you get me that chocolate bar." Jade said sternly. "
"Cameron is picking me up so you're gonna have to walk home alone." She said again.
"Okay whatever." I said back to her as we walked towards the gates.
"Coming to class today?" Jade asked me about the dance class that I have today, reminding me also.
"I'll see." I simply replied.
"You better." She warned me and we laughed.
"What dance are we even doing tonight?" I asked Jade as she walked towards Cameron's car.
"Uh, all I know is that there is a group of girls." Jade said, also confused as me.
"I'll see if I go." I simply said and I continued walking home.

[At home]

"Hey honey." My mother greeted me. I simply nodded and headed towards the stairs.
"Make sure to start packing." She reminded me to pack and I just hummed in responce.

I got inside my room and dropped my backpack near the desk, where it usually stays. I changed my clothes from school and that would be comfortable to dance in. I have a dance class in a few hours.
I went downstairs where my mother had all of the boxes ready to be packed with things that we need for the new house in Los Angeles.

I walked past my mother and she gave me a smile. I did not respond with a smile, I just grabbed two boxes and went back up to my room. As I walked into my bedroom and closed the door behind me.
I placed the boxes in one of  the corners in my room. I'm not going to pack today since I have about 4 days to fully pack. I still need to live here for a few more days.

I decided to do my homework since I have like an hour left until my dance class. I sat on my chair in front of my desk and grabbed my backpack. I took out the books that I needed and started to study and do homework.

[About an hour later]

I closed my books and stood up from my desk. Time to dance. I took my smaller backpack and put my wallet, phone and a water bottle in it. I zipped it up and went down the stairs.

"Where do you think you're going?" My mother spoke from the living room as she saw me get to the bottom of the stairs.
"I have a dance class tonight. I'm going with Jade. Bye." I explained to my mother and left the house through the front door.

Jade texted me that she'll pick me up with her brother Cameron. I came outside to see that the sun is almost starting to set. They should be here in a few minutes, that's what Jade told me at least.

I saw Cameron's Audi finally pull up to the driveway of my house and let the car horn go off. I got frightened a bit but then rolled my eyes and got in the back seat of the car.

"Sup, homies." I said to both of them as I got it. Jade and Cameron both chuckled.
"Hey, babe." Cameron said to me and Jade hit his shoulder causing me to laugh.

Meet Cameron, Jade's good-looking big brother. Cameron is a sweet and nice guy. But there are moments where he can be a total flirt and somewhat a fuckboy. We get along pretty well I would say. He used to have a crush on me, he blurted that out one time when he was certainly not quite sober. I believe his little crush-love for me has disappeared, but he still takes any chance he gets to hangout with me and tries to flirt everytime. He still believes that I'll fall for him one day. Cameron and Jade have such a great bond, considering that they truly are brother and sister. The freckles that they have are honestly amazing.

"Stop hitting on Lexee, Cam. Give it up." Jade warns her brother as he just chuckles and continues to drive to the dance studio.
"I'm not giving up unless she goes on a date with me." Cameron said with a smirk as he eyed me from the little mirror and gave me a wink. I giggled in the back seat.
"Sorry, Cam, but that's illegal." I said with a chuckle.
"Yep, that's illegal and she already has a boyfriend. So back off." Jade informed her own big brother. Cameron gave me a confused but still smirked.
"And I have a test in college tomorrow." He simply said which made me be a little confused.
"What does a test have to do with me having a boyfriend?" I asked, curious to know. He chuckled.
"I was just naming things that we could cheat on." He gave me another wink as he said that. My cheeks turned a bit red, I could feel it.
"Cameron, shut the heck up!" Jade said and hit her brother again causing me to chuckle.
"Well, cheater boy, you can cheat on your tests all you want, but I'm loyal and I have some respect for myself." I said proudly as we arrived at the dance studio.
"Yeah right. Have fun. Text me when to pick you guys up." Cameron said to us as we got out of the car.

We waved to Cameron and went inside the dance studio.

[After a bit of practice]

"Okay girls! You ready?" The class teacher asked us.
We all stood in our place, waiting for the music to start.

Soon enough the music started to play and I let myself get lost to the beat.

(Jade is the girl in the front, Lexee is a bit in the back, the one wearing grey sweatpants)

"Ayeee!" The class teacher yelled in joy. We just finished our dance. Everyone was clapping. I didn't make a mistake for once!
"Girls! That was amazing! Thank you all for coming to my class tonight! See you next time, babes!" The teacher yelled to us and we all high-fived each other.

"You did so good!" I said to Jade before I started drinking my water.
"You did way better!" Jade said back to me as we started walking out of the dance studio.
"Text Cam." I said to Jade and she nodded and did as I said.
"He should be here to pick us up in a few." She informed me and we waiter for Cameron to  arrive and pick us up.
