Chapter twenty-four

~Lexee's P.O.V~

[Tuesday]

I was awoken by the most annoying sound in the world. The alarm clock. I groaned as I turned the alarm clock off and layed back in to bed, on my back. I started at the ceiling for a few minutes. Infinite thoughts filled my tiny mind.

The thought that stood out the most, to me, was a question that soon turned into a fact or even a statement.

I'm moving on Friday?
I'm moving of Friday.

I'll be out of New Jersey in three days. That's scary to even think about. I don't want to leave the people, that I strongly care about, behind me. I don't want to leave Jade, Grayson, Ethan and Dylan. Oh my, Dylan! I haven't seen him in what feels like forever. I have to break the news to him. Ugh, can this week get any more worse?

The sound of my second alarm clock made my train of thought disappear. Yes, it can indeed get more worse.

I groaned again and swung my legs over the bed, finally deciding to get up. I made my bed and placed the pillows on it very neatly, making it look very tumblr.

I then went into my bathroom and did my business. I tied my hair up in a very loose ponytail and brushed my teeth then washed my mouth with some mint mouth wash that made my breath smell fresh and minty. I started doing silly faces in front of the mirror that was above the sink. I took out my hair out of the ponytail and brushed it out. I then got myself together and walked out of the bathroom to pick out my outfit for today.

I picked out a simple one for the day.

I grabbed my phone and slid it in my pocket. I loosely swung my backpack over my shoulder and walked out of my room. I reached the stairs that lead me to the first floor of our house and started making my way down the stairs, making sure not to skip any steps so that I don't fall and break my nose.

"You're wearing that to school?" My mother spoke as I reached the bottom of the stairs.
"Yes, judge me all you want but I look awesome." I said to my mom, she rolled her eyes and let out a huff of air. I just shrugged.

I looked down at my phone to check the time, I don't want breakfast; not hungry.

7.54 a.m

"I'm going to school, bye." I said as I closed the front door behind me, not having any interest in hearing her talk about the whole moving situation.

I put in my earbuds and started listening to some spanish music. Something about it makes me feel relaxed and I have good vibes from it. It depends on the beat and the voice that belongs to the singer though.

[At school]

As soon as I walked through the gates of the school, I spotted Jade rushing over to me, making my body stiffen a bit. Once she reached me, she pulled me into a tight and warm hug. I instantly wrapped my arms around her and I could feel her smile against my shoulder causing me to smile. It's contagious, I swear.

"Wassup, boo." I said to Jade as we pulled away and started walking towards the school.
"The sky, you idiot." She said to me like it was the most obvious thing in the world. I lightly laughed and held the door of the school open for her to go inside.
"Thank you, dumbass." She said and sent me a soft smile, I laughed again.

We parted our ways once we reached the lockers. Her locker isn't quite near mine, that's sad. Once I turned the corner and started walking to  my locker, I saw Dylan standing beside it. Oh, how I missed this boy. I soon find my feet sprint to him and instantly pull him in a hug. My arms wrapped around his torso as my head dug in his chest.

"Woah there, Lex." He said with a chuckle as I felt his arms wrap around my shoulders. He was obviously caught off guard by my amazing presence.
"Dylan, you have no idea how much I've missed you. Where the frick were you? So much has happened while you were gone." I rambled on as I unwrapped my hands from his torso. He chuckled once again at my actions and emotions.
"I was sick, Lex, chill. Tell me everything!" He tried to be as hyped as I was.
"Lets go to our first class, I'll try to tell you." I said as I got my books out of my locker, quickly, and we started walking to our first lesson of the day.

[LUNCH]

I was sitting at our lunch table, eating my delicious baby carrots. I already managed to tell Dylan that I'll be moving in a few days to LA, he wasn't upset about it. He understood it perfectly and told me to enjoy New Jersey while I can. I just haven't told him one thing. That thing was that Ethan and I are dating. He found it out himself.

We were all sitting at our table; Jade, Grayson, Me, Ethan and Dylan. Dylan was kind of forth-wheeling. Dylan wasn't mad at it though.

Ethan's arm was wrapped around my waist, holding me close to him. His head rested on my shoulder. I fed him some of my baby carrots. He had a chicken sandwich sitting right in front of him, yet he wanted my baby carrots.

"So, I'm a forth-wheel now, huh?" He said as he popped a grape in his mouth with a chuckle. I gave him a look that basically said 'yup'.
"Don't worry, dude. You'll definently find someone with those looks." I said to him as I started jokingly fanning my face with my hand. I could feel Ethan's jaw being clenched against my shoulder. I placed my hand on his thigh underneath the table gently, knowing that he was jealous. I could already feel a smirk showing on his face, he relaxed his jaw.

Jade and Grayson were, like always, caught up in their own conversations. We all continued to eat our food. Well, Ethan decided to help me eat my baby carrots as his sandwich got cold. Grayson secretly stole his sandwich and ate it.

Soon enough the bell rang, indicating that the third lesson will start in just a few minutes. We all threw away our trash and walked out of the lunch room. We all parted our ways. Grayson and Jade went to one side of the school, Dylan to the other. Ethan decided to walk me to my class, not caring if he'd be late or not.

"Three days, huh?" Ethan softly spoke as our hands were holding on to eachother. His soft voice caught me off guard. I averted my gaze to him as we continued walking.
"Yeah. That's scary." I said as I lightly chuckled.
"It really is. I can't imagine being stuck here, without you." Ethan said as we reached the classroom of my next class. We stopped in our tracks, beside the door of the classroom.
"Hey, I'm not going anywhere yet." I said and looked at our hands.
"Yet." He repeated the word that I just said. Seeing him sad made a small piece of my heart break and fall off into an empty pit.
"I love you, no matter what. I'll see you later." I told him and gave him a sweet and long kiss on his perfectly shaped lips. He responded to the kiss but after a few seconds he pulled away.
"Same goes to you, princess." He said softly, kissed my cheek and walked off to class.
I felt my cheeks turn a bit red.

I swear, his words will never fail to make me blush.
