[Last class of the day]

"Boooooriiiiing." I heard someone from the back of the class yell while we were at the middle of watching the movie 'If I stay' in literature class.
"Mr. Dail, would you please shut your mouth. The lesson is going to end in a few minutes." Mrs. Lillian shushed Jack, he blushed in embarassment. The whole class let out silent laughs.
"Now now, students, before class ends, I'll assign your homework." The teacher told everyone as she turned off the movie and turned on the lights. I swear, we looked like we just saw daylight for the first time in years.
"For homework, I'll need you to watch this movie on your own and write a report on it. While doing the report, you will also have to somehow match the movie up with your life. You will not be allowed to read what you have written. Please study your speeches. Class dissmissed, have a nice day." Mrs. Lillian said and with that, the last bell of the day rang.

Me and Jade picked up our things and left to go to our lockers.

"Wanna hang out today? Cameron wants to go and watch a movie with him and he said that I could bring you." Jade told me her plans for the day. I laughed and shook my head no.
"Sorry, can't. I have some plans with Ethan today." I said to her, she wiggled her brows.
"Oh, really? Mind telling me those plans?" She asked me with a laugh as we reached my locker.
"We'll be studying." I said to her, sarcasm laced all over the tone of my voice.
"What will you be studying? Biology: the human body? Or your speech for literature class?" She asked me with a smirk.
"Oh shush. You don't need to know. Go have some bonding time with your brother." I told her and she pouted.
"Fine, text me the dets. Baaii." She said and gave me a hug. I hugged her back and made my way out the school doors.

I hopped off the steps and went on my phone. I looked through the notifications. I was walking by the parking lot. I heard a very familiar car beep which made me drop my phone. I bent down to pick up my phone from the ground, praying, that the screen will be okay and not shattered.
I picked up my phone and slowly turned it over in my hand.
Are you fucking kidding me? The screen was half-way broken, shattered almost.
I turned around to look at the car who beeped. It was Ethan. He was sitting in his car with a wide smile plastered on his face. He gestured me to come and sit inside the car. I was quite pissed off. I marched over to his car and got inside.

"He-" He started but I instantly cut him off.
"Look what you made me do!" I said to him and showed him my phone screen. He started laughing. I pouted.
"You owe me a new phone, idiot." I said to him and crossed my hands over my chest as I still pouted. He controlled his laugher and got closer to my face. He kissed my pouted lips and slowly pulled back.
"I'll get you a new phone, my princess." He said sweetly to my face and gave me a kiss on my cheek. A small smile grew on my face from the nickname.
"There's that pretty smile." Ethan said to me with a laugh, the smile grew a little bit wider.
"Okay, now, tell me one thing." Ethan said in a slightly serious tone. I relaxed in my seat and nodded my head for Ethan to continue talking.
"So, why 5 p.m?" He looked at me with a smirk. I turned my head to him.
"We can go to my place now." I said to him and winked. He bit his lip and quickly started the engine. I laughed at his actions and we made our way to my house.

[At the Smith household]

I unlocked the door and let Ethan go inside first. I closed the door behind me and took off my shoes. I looked at the couches, Ethan was laying there on his back, his eyes closed. I quietly placed my backpack on the floor and sneaked behind the couch.
