Ember woke up in Bellamy's arms after a few hours. She could hear tons of crickets, and the loud camp everyone still awake. Ember moved Bellamy's arm slowly, getting out of his hold. She sighed, glancing back at him, his eyes stayed closed, and she grabbed her disregarded shirt from the floor, throwing it on.
She put on her pants, then quickly left. She ran a hand through her hair, smiling at the people she passed. She sat down next to Octavia by the fire, who glanced around for Emma, then smirked at her. "Bellamy?" She asked, sitting forward and crossing her arms. "Really?"
"I don't know what you're talking about." Ember brushed off. Octavia laughed. "Don't." Ember said. "We were both hurt, if you don't remember he was with Emma on the Ark. I can't. That's like the sister code."
Octavia bumped Ember's side. "He never actually liked her. He only ever talked about you." Octavia said. "Now that I think about it, he always talked about you." Octavia paused. "I can't believe my best friend and my brother slept together."
"And that was all that it is." Ember replied. "Even if he only talked about me, Emma was obsessed with being with him. If I ever want to actually repair my relationship with her, getting with Bellamy is not the way to go."
Octavia rolled her eyes. She wondered why Ember couldn't see that she was Bellamy's great love. The two were meant to be together. Not to mention, after Logan, Emma didn't have the feelings she used to have for Bellamy. "Little too late for that." Octavia said. Ember sighed, watching the fire crackle in front of them.
"Check it out!" Someone yelled. Ember glanced over, seeing that the guy was pointing up at the sky. "Bellamy get out here." Bellamy came out after a moment, having his jeans on and no shirt. Ember looked up to avoid meeting Bellamy's eyes, seeing a pod coming down from the sky.
"They're coming to help us. Now we can kick some grounder ass." Jones said, earning a chuckled from Ember.
"Please tell me they brought down some shampoo."

"If it cleared the ridge then it's probably near the lake." Jones said.
"We should get moving." Octavia said, looking at Bellamy, then at Ember. Ember avoided looking at Bellamy, while Bellamy couldn't look anywhere else but her. "Everyone's ready."
"No one's going anywhere." Bellamy said, coughing awkwardly then looking at his sister. "Not while it's dark it isn't safe. We'll head out at first light, Pass the word."
Bellamy went to go back in his tent, but was stopped by Octavia. "Everyone for a hundred mines saw this thing come down. What if the grounders get to it first? Bell, we should go now."
"I said we wait till sunrise." Bellamy looked at Ember, then went inside his tent.
Octavia turned to Ember. "What are we gonna do?"
"Get ready to leave. We both know that Bellamy won't wait until sunrise."
~*~
"Bellamy!" Octavia yelled, running with Ember to catch up with him. "What are you doing?" She asked, although they all knew what he was doing there.
Bellamy glanced at Ember from the corner of his eye, who looked at the ground, her arms crossed awkwardly. "Go back to camp. It isn't safe."
Ember met eyes with Bellamy, straightening her posture. "You can't expect us to leave you alone after you say it isn't safe." She said, neither her or Bellamy looking away, Octavia snapping her fingers in front of Bellamy's face.
"You lied to everyone. You lied to me. You just want whatever's in that pod for yourself." Octavia said.
Bellamy shoved Octavia back. "Just go home!"
"You always want to play big brother, huh? Or the great protector!" Octavia said, signalling over to Ember. "Well, guess what? Jokes on me. You're just a selfish dick!"
"I did this for you! To protect you. If the Ark finds out we're alive, they'll come down. And when they do, I'm dead."
"What did you do?" Ember said, stepping forward to be next to Octavia.
"I shot him. I shot Jaha." Bellamy said quietly. "I found out they were sending you to earth, I thought Ember was dead. I couldn't let you be here all alone. Someone came to me with a deal. Do this, kill him, and they'd get me on the dropship. And I did it."
"You killed the chancellor?" Octavia asked.
"He floated both of our mothers. He locked you guys up. I thought he killed you, Ember. He deserved it."
"I didn't ask you to do that." Octavia replied, glaring at her brother.
"You're right. I made the choice. This is on me. Whatever they sent down, I'll take care of it."
Octavia turned away from Bellamy. "I didn't ask for any of this." She said, grabbing Ember's good arm and leaving.
The two ran back to camp, but Octavia tripped and both girls tumbled over the nearby hill.

Emma watched as Raven came into camp with Bellamy and the others. She cursed, looking around her for a way to get out. "We need to launch those flares ASAP if we have any hope of saving those people. Finn, get that control panel to camp. You, pull out those fire circuits in one piece or they won't work."
Raven laid eyes on Emma, glaring instantly as she walked over. "Sad to see you're not dead."
"Harsh, Rav. I thought we were friends."
"Ember, is my friend. You, are my enemy." Raven replied with a thundering glare. "Clarke, can I have a hand?" Raven asked, moving away from Emma and towards the ship. Raven handed a wrench to Clarke. "Work the bolts here gently. Rocket fuel likes to go boom. We're gonna need power to fire."
"They're tying in the batteries on the dropship. Should be ready when we get there." Clarke said.
"Great, so what's the problem?" Raven asked, seeing the look on Clarke's face.
Clarke looked at the panel. "Nothing, I just- well if we get the rockets to launch, will they see them from the Ark?"
"Like the good book says, it's all about burn time and cloud cover. But I know your mom will be watching. I've never seen anyone love someone the way she loves you. You know that, right?"
"I did." Clarke replied, pursing her lips. "It's complicated."
A/N: This is so short, and since I'm disappointed in younger me, I'm gonna do a double update. Enjoy (:
