"How has the music been coming along?" I asked.
"It's been great. We finished another song and we just started on another. I can't wait for you to hear them." Namjoon said, excitement in his voice.
"I can't wait to hear them. I'm so excited for all of you." I said, a smile on my face.
He was silent for a second.
"Bang PD asked about you today." Namjoon said.
"He did?" I asked.
Why would Bang PD be asking about me?
"He asked me how you were doing and how we were doing." Namjoon said.
"What did you say?" I asked curiously.
"I told him that I hadn't really talked to you in a while because you've been busy with Marissa. I also told him that I missed you a lot and he said that he could tell." He said.
I let out a small sigh.
"Are you letting it affect your work?" I asked.
"No." Namjoon said.
"Yes he is! Do not let him lie to you!" A voice shouted from the hallway.
Namjoon turned around.
"I am not!" He shouted.
I laughed a little. The voice opened the door. It was Jungkook.
"Do not let him lie to you Noona. He is slacking." Jungkook said.
"Is he really?" I asked, raising my eyebrows at Joon.
"I am not slacking. Do not listen to what this idiot tells you." Namjoon said, looking back at me.
"He talks about you all the time Noona!" Jungkook shouted.
Namjoon smiled and hid his face in his hands. Jungkook walked over to Namjoon and placed his hands on Joon's shoulders. He leaned down so his face would be in frame.
"It's alright hyung. We're all slacking. We all miss her." Jungkook said.
Namjoon lifted his head and looked at me.
"I will leave you two now." Jungkook said before turning around and exiting the room.
"I've been talking to Bang PD to see if we can come visit you and Marissa. It's hard. I really do miss you and-"
Namjoon was cut off by my phone ringing. I looked over at the caller ID. It was my mother. I quickly answered and held the phone to my ear.
"Hey mom. What's u-"
"Emma, you need to get to the hospital now." She said frantically, cutting me off.
I started panicking. My heart was racing as I ran around searching for my purse.
"I'm on my way." I said frantically as I ran into my closet.
I ended the call and grabbed my purse. I shoved my phone in my back pocket and closed my laptop.
I ran down the stairs and searched my purse for my keys. I pulled out my keys and sprinted to the garage. I got into my car and opened the garage door. As soon as the garage door was open, I backed out onto the driveway and closed the door. I threw the car into drive and started toward the hospital. As I was driving, I pulled out my phone and called Marcus. He answered quickly.
"Hey. What's up?" He answered.
"Something's wrong with Marissa. I'm on my way to the hospital right now." I said in a panicked tone.
