Emma POV
Spending all of your time sitting on the couch and relaxing sounds like the dream right?Wrong.
It was the worst.
By day five, I felt so much stronger but I still couldn't do anything. All I wanted to do was dance again.
All of the boys took turns the whole week taking care of me. Most of the time, it was Jin or Namjoon taking care of me while the rest of the boys were just a source of entertainment.
Yesterday was my final day of rest. Today, I was in PD-nim's office, finally.
"We were thinking about having you debut in one week so you would have enough time to get back to normal." Bang PD said.
I stayed silent. I wanted to debut sooner but I didn't want to disrespect him.
"You look like you have something to say." He said.
I looked up at him.
"I do not want to be rude or disrespectful to you." I said.
"It's alright. What are you thinking?" He asked kindly.
"I wanted to debut in three days but I respect your opinions and I mean no disrespect to you." I said, looking down at the floor.
"It's alright. What is your reasoning?" He asked.
I looked up at him.
"I think that if I practice six hours or more a day, I could be back to normal and ready to debut in three days." I said, staring at the floor.
An eerie silence hung in the room.
What have I done?
"Can we agree on five days? I do not want you to over work yourself. You just got off of bed rest. It would not be wise to push yourself like you have been." PD-nim said.
I nodded.
"Today will be a strictly musical rehearsal. I want you to take it easy just for today. Tomorrow we can have Justin come in a run a full dance training with you." He said.
"Yes sir." I said, bowing to show my respect for him.
"I had your band set up in room four-fifteen. We have a cameraman set up in there as well. Do not be alarmed by him, just act as if he is not there. I also suggest you get to know your band members. If your debut goes well, they will be permanent." PD-nim said.
"Yes sir. Thank you." I said respectfully.
I stood and bowed before leaving the room. I walked down the hall to room four-fifteen. When I got to the door, I opened it and walked into the studio. A band was setting up their equipment and going through sound checks. A stool, music stand and microphone sat facing the band equipment. There was also a cameraman in the corner testing his camera. The drummer looked up and locked eyes with me. He stood up and started walking toward me. I met him halfway. He bowed and I bowed back.
"You must be Emma." He said.
"I am." I said with a smile.
He turned to the rest of the band and introduced me to everyone. Everyone introduced themselves. I couldn't remember everyone's name today.
"Are you ready for the vocal run through?" The drummer asked.
"Born ready." I joked.
He laughed and walked up to his drum set.
We started to go through the songs. I managed to get through the entire set without messing up.
We ran through the set two more times. When we finished, I said my goodbyes to the cameraman and band before leaving the room. I walked down the hall to the stairwell, like I used to do. I opened the door and started down the four flights of stairs. I made it down the stairs and exited the stairwell. I walked out to the street. The cool September air rushed against my face. I walked out to my car and quickly got in. I started the car and drove home. I pulled up to the house and saw the driveway empty.
