"Unlike you, who doesn't even bother to take a shower. No wonder Mrs. Norris always thought you carried dungbombs around"
Gryffindors threw a party in the common room after the win against Ravenclaw. All thanks to James, obviously. The pink broomstick was actually an advantage, since the Ravenclaws got distracted quite easily.
And believe it or not, the whole common room was chanting James' name. James sat on Jason's shoulders, holding up his hands. Miraline, on the other hand, didn't know whether she should be pleased or angry.
She should be pleased if her team won, closer to the cup. And she should be pleased because of the fact that her prank on James worked.
But somehow she's annoyed that people aren't making fun of him anymore.
"To James!" Timothy screamed, making most of the students raise their cups "And his marvelous pink Firebolt Seven!"
Everyone cheered except Miraline who is standing a few feet away from the crowds, resting her back to the wall and her hands folded on her chest.
"That does it" she mumbled under her breath and stomp her way towards the spiral stairs leading to the girls dormitory.

It was a cold Saturday morning on the courtyard. There were barely anyone around. Most of them are still in their beds.
Yet, you can see Elizabeth Kinley sitting quietly on the bench where she usually sits. She was reading peacefully, her Ravenclaw scarf hanging neatly around her neck. If someone saw her around in the morning, no one would be surprised.
What would make everyone surprised, however, was James Potter on his jumper at this hour.
He jogged toward Elizabeth who looked up from her book for two seconds before she continue reading. It appears that Elizabeth was waiting for James' presence.
"Look at you" said James who took a seat immediately next to her, "All pretty in the morning"
Elizabeth hides her face behind the book, something she does when she blush. Not that James noticed anyway.
"Unlike you," said Elizabeth, finally closing her book "Who doesn't even bother to take a shower. No wonder Mrs. Norris always thought you carried dungbombs around"
James winced, and put his arm high, sniffing his armpits. "Mind you, i took a shower after the match!"
"Anyway" said Elizabeth, not looking amused.
"Yeah, anyway" said James who looked pleased that she changed the subject. "who did it?" he said, to the point.
"Well, it has to be one of your Quidditch mates" said Elizabeth, starting to look serious "It's impossible for students to cast a spell that far away, unless it's a teacher which is highly unlikely."
"Yeah, get to the point, Lizzy" said James, as he shift from the bench uncomfortably and put one of his leg on the bench.
"It can't be Alex, because he doesn't have a motive and he would most likely want the match to be perfectly planned, and he's the one that helped you when everyone else laugh. So, no. And not Henry because i think he's not that smart to---"
"Just give me the name, Lizzy" James groans as his head leaned back,
"It's that bird" said Elizabeth rolling her eyes, annoyed that James doesn't want to hear her explanations "It's Miraline Lynch"
James' head that previously rested on the bench shot up, "R'you sure?"
"Positive"
Elizabeth was pleased to say she didn't make up anything, luck was on her side. Miraline Lynch was the one that turned James' broom bright pink, and it was the truth.
"Oh that girl! Only one time she's on the team and look what happened!" James put his feet down, his body tensed. "Never mind if she's a good beater. Oh i should've known!"
James stood up and started walking away from Elizabeth who smiled widely while shaking her head,
"Thanks Lizzy! I owe you!" said James as he started running,
