"He told me not to talk about your broom, but i didn't know talking about Brown could set you off too"

James Potter woke up early to watch the match, Slytherin vs. Hufflepuff. He was kind of hoping Slytherin would win because of the fact he can't take the humiliation if he lost to Hufflepuff again, but he is quiet concerned about the new chaser.

He heard he was that good.

So he took the front row, all set with binocular. The Quidditch pitch is now crowded, most of the students were rooting against Hufflepuff, though a handful of Slytherin seems to be singing a song. James could only make out the words 'Finnick our hero'

"No one has ever written me a song before." said James as he started to get irritated, "Why can't you lot make a song about me?" He said, mostly to Timothy who isn't a Quidditch player.

"We're too caught up with your broom, mate." said Timothy boringly. Jason eyes widened as he nudges Timothy "I told you to not talk about the broom. He's sensitive about that." said Jason whispering to Timothy.

"What a load of crap! You and the others wouldn't have made a song even if my broom is perfectly normal." said James as he brings his old binocular to his eyes, looking sharply at the Slytherin screaming. "I changed my mind. I'm rooting for hufflepuff. Slytherins a nutcase."

"You can't dislike a house for being loud and excited" Timothy groaned, "What if you got beathen by Hufflepuff in your next mat---"

"SHHH, there they are!" James screamed and pointed at the team entering the field. The whole Quidditch field is shouting and screaming louder by the second.

"AND HERE IT IS FOLKS! THE HOUSES QUIDDITCH TEAMS" The commentator chant loudly, "Two new Quidditch player from the Hufflepuff and three on the Slytherin. Is it going to be Hufflepuffs year again, or is it time for the Slytherin to take control? I heard the new players are good. IT'S GOING TO BE A BLAST!"

That evening, James had to study with Elizabeth in the library. But he's late again.

Elizabeth kept looking at her watch, considering to leave the library and head to the Great Hall, but James came just as her patience is at the edge.

"If you keep being late, I'm going to have to stop teaching you." said Elizabeth in one breath. "I have stuff to do too"

"Alright alright," said James as he puts down his bag and pull out his books and parchment. "Got a letter from father this morning. He told me that I can't stay here for Christmas. Had to go home. So that's a no go to the Terror Prank."

"I told you i don't want to listen about pranks" said Elizabeth. She's not usually this mean, but she waited half an hour for James and he didn't seem to feel bad about it at all.

"Right. Anyway, the letter also said that you could have a dinner with us this Christmas." said James, and Elizabeth immediately took interest. "Your family is also invited."

"I doubt they would come. Me and granddad would, though" she said as she put down the book she was reading. "Mum and Dad had stuff to do this Christmas. They told me last summer"

Just then, Finnick Brown walked past their library table, looking at the shelves around them. James and Elizabeth both looked at him, but he doesn't seem to notice. "He's athletic and smart at the same time." said Elizabeth.

James winced, "Don't say that. He's a nerd."

"Are you scared?" asked Elizabeth,

"Of what? Him?" asked James,

"Of losing to his team." she said, "People are saying he's the best chaser in Hogwarts at the moment. He scored against Hufflepuff so easily, and Hufflepuff had won the Quidditch Cup for what three, four time in a row? That's rather impressive don't you think?"

"I'm not hearing this again." James groaned, "That bloke just started and he had some sloppy moves too. It's the seeker that made his team win, not him." He said defensively.

"He's close to that girl, isn't he? Miraline Lynch."

"He could snog off her traitorous face, I don't care. Both are them are snobby and untalented."

Elizabeth chuckled, "Yeah, Jason warned me of your sensitive mood just this morning. He told me not to talk about your broom, but i didn't know talking about Brown could set you off too"
