Chapter 5

Candys POV

Okay. Don't show them your weaknesses and be strong..

I hate this school. The whole pressure was ruining everything and it stressed me out. But I couldn't show that to the others..they would probably make fun of it.

I couldn't even tell it my best friend Jane because she would tell it her boyfriend and he could tell other people. I wasn't even sure anymore whether she was my best friend..she didn't seem to care about how I felt. She is not like she was before she got her boyfriend..things changed.

I arrived at the classroom where all the students stood and I noticed Jane and her boy sitting there close to each other. I didn't really have a choice so I decided to arrange myself next to them and mumbled a silent "Hey" to them but they didn't notice ..once again. I never really liked the people in my class but I got along quite well, so it's okay. By the time I noticed that someone is stared at me..I turned my head as my eyes met a pair of brown eyes. As my eyes flew over the rest of the person I noticed that she wore a blue shirt but the collar was messed up so I assumed that she had overslept a bit. Somehow I felt the urge to smile but I decided to hold it back. However, these brown eyes belonged to no one else than Janine. Janine and I had a interesting relationship, it was like we couldn't let each other live in peace but when we made fun of each other, we took it not too serious and it was still kind of fun. But back to the reality, she seemed to realise that she was staring at me because she nodded and turned away and at the same time I felt a bit insecure... but why?
