Janines POV
The rest of the day in school went by really quickly and I spent the most time of it with Candy. It really seemed that we have a new start...wow.
We just talked about insignificant things but it was awesome. Actually...I can't remember when I had such a comfortable conversation the last time. But in the back of my head the guilt spoke to me.. Why do you start a new friendship? It will make everything more complicated!
Before I could spend more time on thinking over, I shoved in my headphones and searched for a song which suited to my current mood and there it was: Na na na by My Chemical Romance. God, I listened to this band so much recently..well I didn't know them that long so..
I was close to sing along which was completely unusual for me but today it seemed like everything's possible.
Five minutes later I rang our doorbell and after a few seconds I was greeted by the smell of lasagne and my smiling mother. "Hey dear, how comes that you are smiling? Who died?" , she asked with a surprised look. "Very funny, no one died. I am just..happy. Is that forbidden? ", I replied and shot her a daring glance. She knows that I am quite sadistic but that was not okay.
"I'm hungry like a shark so.." I said and ran into the kitchen before she could even try to stop me.
