Shanias POV
After the relationship talk, I felt a sudden mood change...felt like I was actually the only one in a good mood.
We walked the last metres until we reached the Chinese, when Candy suddenly began to speak. "Uhm I don't feel so good..would it be okay for you if I go now? I'm really sorry..", she asked. "You're missing the best part then..", Janine mumbled but nodded and I joined her. "If we can do anything for you, give us a call", I hugged her before she turned around and walked away from us.
I looked at Janine who was trying to get money out of her pocket. "Naaah you're my guest, Janine", I said and bought us a few spring rolls and noodles. As we sat on the table, I looked at her straight. "So, what was that?"
"What was what?", she lifted up her head and looked me in the eyes. Usually it's impossible to see a lot of emotions in her eyes but this time it wasn't. She seemed kinda worried and I don't know..sad? I mean, it's not such a rarity that she is sad but it is a rarity that it's that 'obvious'...
"Well what just happened? The reason for her leaving? ", I got myself back together and she just shrugged with an "I don't know Shania", which showed me that it's pointless to continue this conversation.
We ate our food in silence and out of all sudden, I see Alex, Janines boyfriend in front of me.
"Hey girls, what a surprise!", he hugged Janine from behind and she just replied with a short "Hi".
I really don't understand her. He is quite handsome, a bit taller than her, black messy and short hair, his skin is perfectly sun-tanned and the best: he has ice blue eyes!
Others would tell everyone how lucky they are but she never did that, our little weirdo. I would directly date him but no no no he is a no touchy area.
"Do you want me to bring you home love? ", Alex kissed Janine on the forehead. She stood up, "No thank you, I prefer walking", hugged him and waved at me before she left us there. He looked after her and sighed.."I don't understand her..". I got up and patted his shoulder.
"No one understands her, don't worry Alex", I walked home and left him standing there alone.
