Janines POV
Ugh. I felt relieved as I left Alex and Shania alone. I need my silence now this day ended quite horrible. I felt bad and don't even know why and the worst of all is that Candy left so early. But why did she leave? If I knew where she lived, I would've visited her..but here I am now, in front of our house, searching my keys. Fuck. I sighed and rang our doorbell. As I entered, my mother just shook her head and went back into the kitchen. She spent there most of the time no matter whether she was cooking or not. I went to my room, turned on my music and sat down on the sofa. I guess I fell asleep because my mother woke me up with a loud "Come here to eat!" but instead of going there, I just turned around and stared at the wall. After a few minutes she finally gave up and I decided to leave my room soon after. My mother watched me as I walked through all rooms searching. "What are you searching?", she asked and I could hear in her voice that she was annoyed again, like 95% of the time.
I didn't have to answer her because I just found what I have been searching, the telephone. I walked back to my room and searched my mobile phone for Candys number. There it is.
I felt my heart beating fast as I slowly entered her number into our landline. As I finished, I stares at the display until I felt my hands getting sweaty. I swallowed and finally pushed the little green button.
