All the world's a stage
And our lives the opening act
Our struggles and triumphs,
Our dramas and tragedies.
Are we the hero of our story?
Or the villain in others'?
Do we stand for justice?
Or oppose those that do?
The play is our story,
A telling of our battles
Which do we fight?
And what do we stand for?
Decide before opening night.
Which characters surround you?
What do they say?
What are those quotes best remembered,
Even in light of next day?
Tell me your story,
Act it upon the stage
Show me your passions,
Your loves,
Your age.
Let the scenes tell a fable
Stage them loud and clear.
Dress the theater for the set
Of your new and glorious next.
Take us traveling through
Your hopes and your dreams
Go beyond, go forthBe unafraid to practice
Pre curtain rise.
Even the best of tales
Are abridged and renewed,
Yours can be edited still, too.
So when you perform
That opening act
Your mistakes become perfect
And nothing's exact.
Life is not perfect,
Instead, rather messy.
So is the play,
But we know all actors to say
The show must go on.
Therefore, so must your life.
Choose not to dwell on missteps and strife.
Perform at your best, whenever you're able
Rejoice in the journey,
The fable.
Weave us a story
Of growth
And new beginnings,
No play could be to an audience
More lovely and winning. We all relate,
Even the best understand,
There is no perfect,
Not even in perfect-land.
