Tygra now was a grown cat. Claudius and Leonara told him of his arrival. But they told it differently because they didn't want Tygra to think less of his father because they knew Javan was a good cat.

Lion-o, Tygra, Liosia and Leonaro were scouting ahead. "You two don't seem to mind the chilly weather." Lion-o said.

"We lived in Alaska it got pretty cold there." Liosia said.

"I think we're lost," Leonaro said.

"I don't think we are," Tygra said.

"Tygra, you think we're going the right way?" Liosia said.

"Yes," Tygra said.

Lion-o threw a snow ball. "You never admit when you're wrong." Lion-o said.

"And you never act your age." Tygra said.

"Hey guys, look over here tracks." Liosia said.

"You're right but what made them?" Lion-o said.

"Nothing we'd want to run into I think." Tygra said. Another snowball hit Tygra. "LION-O!" he yelled.

"I didn't do it!" Lion-o said.

There was some rumbling. "Careful keep you're voice down we might cause an avalanche." Liosia said.

"But who threw the snow ball?" Lion-o asked. Then one hit him. Lion-o looked at Tygra who shook his head. Then he looked at Liosia.

"Don't look at me," she said.

Leonaro was laughing. "LEONARO!" Lion-o and Tygra snapped.

There was rumbling snow came down.

"Avalanche!" they shouted. They took cover.

"Everyone okay?" Liosia asked.

"I'm okay," Leonaro said.

"We're fine too," Lion-o said. "I hope we find that short cut." he said.

"We found something." Tygra said said pointing there was a cave.

They went inside to see what was there. The figures came. "Welcome it's nice to have some guests, we heard the avalanche are you alright?" one of them said.

"Yes, we're fine." Liosia said.

"You see my brother, my friends and I are lost and," Lion-o said.

"I wouldn't say lost," Tygra said.

"Not now Tygra." Lion-o said.

"Tygra?" the figures said.

"You're name is Tygra?" one of them asked.

"Yes but it's if ask like you know me," Tygra said.

"I am Caspin of the tiger clan I know your father will be thrilled to see you I know the tigers will celebrate today." Caspin said.

They were taken too the council chamber.

"Look who it is lord Javan," Caspin said.

Javan gasped when he saw Tygra. "Tygra is that really you?" Javan asked.

"All this time I thought I was on my own and here you are." Tygra said.

"I always thought Tygra came from a lost clan." Lion-o said.

"We were never lost we just settled in different place Claudius knew where we were." Caspin said.

Javan explained how the tigers settled in the mountains.

Tygra told his story.

"What really happened is different my son, I gave you to Claudius and his wife myself." Javan said.

"I see," Tygra said. "Why would they lie to me?" Tygra asked.

"To protect you." Javan said.

"Now you become heir to the land of your own." Caspin said. "Now us tigers can celebrate." he said.

"If I am the son of the chief why did you give me away?" Tygra asked.

"I didn't give away I did it so you could live. Night is falling get everyone inside. The monster called the Fangstire will be here soon." Javan said.

There was roaring and the monster tore up the village.

"Why is it here?" Lion-o asked.

"We don't know but it has been plaguing us for generations. It is awful, the Guardian bird Monisa tries to stop it but it comes and wreaks havoc on our village and attacks innocent animals going through the mountains." Javan said.

"Yes and it always attacks the family of the chief we don't know why we think it has a taste for the chief and future chief's blood." Caspin said.

The next morning Tygra talked to his father. "Tygra that is one of the reasons why a I gave you to Claudius and his queen Leonara another reason is your mother disappeared after one of the attacks either the monster or guardian bird carried her off. You were just a couple of days old when it happened. I had rough time caring for you especially when the winter got harsh." Javan said.

"The food became short and you were too young to survive with out your mother. Since the milk from the livestock became scarce I couldn't feed you, so I took you to Thundera and asked Claudius and his wife to take care of you. It was the hardest thing I had ever done. I missed you everyday since." he said.

"Why didn't you comeback for me?" Tygra asked.

"I heard about how much the king and queen loved you, I felt as if I couldn't take you away they had been able to have a cub of their own since they were your godparents I decided they should raise you, instead of you living in constant danger of that monster." Javan said.

"Father I do what I can to help rid you of that monster." Tygra said.

The other Thundercats came to the village and Tygra explained.

Tygra stayed true to his word. That night when the monster attack they set a trap the Thundercats fought bravely. Tygra found a sharp burning spear and drove it through the beast's chest.

The monster fell dead.

The tigers cheered.

Javan was happy his son was safe, and a hero. He was proud that Tygra found the cat who was right for him.

"I hope to see you again soon my son," Javan said. He handed him his whip. "I want you to use this it will help you in your war against Mum-Ra." Javan said.

"Thanks father, I'll see you soon." Tygra said and the two of them hugged.
