☆Chapter 9☆

~Mark's Pov~

We all saw the girls get up and leave in a hurry out of the classroom and I was wondering what happened for them to react like that.

I had noticed that they were always really cautious about everything; What they did or said and especially of their surroundings.

They checked as if to make sure that no one was following them and that they were safe.

I was really intrigued,curious and I wanted to know what was wrong, because I would want to protect the girl that I like from being harmed.

Jaebeom interrupted my thoughts and told us:

"Let's follow them. Something must have happened and I want to know what."

"Why?!" asked Bambam.

"It might be that it is private business of theirs,you know like a family emergency or something." Jackson said.

"They don't have a family Jackson hyung." stated Jinyoung and we just stared at him for a couple of seconds.

"Neither of them have parents?" asked Youngjae. 

"What!?? How do you know that?" I asked him.

"It's true none of them do, at least that's what Soso told me earlier."
Jinyoung said as a matter of fact.

"Hyungs,I wouldn't want to interrupt your conversation,but if we don't go after them now, we won't be able to catch up to them." said Yugyeom.

We got out of the classroom really fast and now we were following them with our car and I was driving.

While in the car the boys started asking Jaebeom as to what happened between him and Sabina before we got to school.

He told us about Annabelle jumping from behind him hugging and kissing him in front of the girl he likes.

"What's with today's weird events?!!
1st-Jaebeom,you leave home early to talk to Sabina and try to change things in your favor even just a little..." I said but got interrupted.

"Which we kind of figured out ourselves how that'd go..not well at all." Said Jackson and that earned him the sting eye from Jaebeom. 

"...2nd-Annabelle hugs and kisses you and Sabina runs off to god knows where;
3rd-The girls run off as well to who knows where and for what; and
4th-We're following them to see what they're up too.
This day just couldn't get any better.
Wow! I wonder what we're going to learn about them.Maybe they're heroes in disguise or maybe they're involved with criminals!" I said sarcastically. 

The boys wanted to say something, but we saw the girls pull over near a really ominous neighborhood and we
stopped all the chatter.

I was starting to get worried and hoping that what I said earlier about them being involved with criminals wasn't true.

"What are they doing here?" Asked Youngjae.

"What do you think they're doing here in this place hyungs?" asked Bambam worry obvious in his voice.

"Well,I guess we're going to find out very soon." I answered them.

We got near them and saw all the girl there,including Sabina and a bunch of men covered in blood and bruises,all beaten up.

We heard Sabina asking the girls:

"What took you so long?" in a teasing tone and Jessica's answer:

"We got caught in traffic." And they all started laughing, but their laughter died down as soon as Sabina saw us.

I wonder why though.

'What is it that these girls are hiding or trying to protect?'

~Sabina's Pov~

"You girls brought them here?!!" I shouted at them.

"What!?? Of course we didn't." said Yoona.

"You know very well that we wouldn't do that. We'd never put our mates in danger." said Jessica getting angry and raising her voice slightly.

"Then how do you explain the fact that they're standing right in front of us?" I said trying to keep my voice as low as possible, but I was still angry.

"We don't know how or why." said Soso.

"Why don't we ask them directly then?!" Alex said.

"Why waste time and ask them,when we can learn that information in another way?" asked Holly.

"We can't do that." answered Yasmin.

"What?!Why not??" The girls asked me and Yasmin at the same time.

We answered them through the mind link since we didn't want the boys to hear us:

"Well apparently because they're our mates,we ummm...we..." I started saying and couldn't continue so Yasmin spoke instead:

"We can't use our powers on them.At least I and Sabina can't use Telepathy. We can't read their minds, control their feelings, thoughts or memories."

"Okay, I understand that both of you can't use that power on your mates, but on ours too?!"

Asked Jessica and I answered:

"Well girls,you know that we are all connected through these powers and I'm guessing that's why we can't use our powers on neither one of them."

"Okay,asking them it is then." said Holly.

So we asked them:

"How did you guys find out where we were?"

Jinyoung answered: "We followed you from the moment you girls got out of school with our car and here we are now."

"Ooohhh!" The girls said surprised.

"Girls!? What in the actual hell! You didn't think of checking if you were being followed or not? Are you trying to get yourselfs killed!?" I asked them angrily.

"Wait what??" asked Youngjae.

"KILLED!!??" The boys asked at the same time.

But I wasn't paying them to much attention.

"Boys,not now." I told them.

"Sorry we forgot to check." said Soso.

"We weren't thinking straight,since we were worried about you." Alex said.

"We just wanted to come here as soon as possible to help you." said Yasmin.

"We wanted to make sure you were okay." said Jessica.

"To make sure we got your back in this situation." Holly said.

"Will you forgive us?" said Yoona while using aegyo to lighten up the atmosphere.

I wasn't able to stay mad at them so I smiled a bit and said:

"Fine.I forgive you this time, but make sure to check next time, because I don't want any of you getting hurt, alright?"

"Promise!" They said together and came to hug me.

During the time that we were having this sweet moment, we had forgotten about the gang members and especially about their boss.

The Got7 members were looking at us with love and adoration in their eyes and I felt so happy at that moment, but it didn't last long.

From the corner of my eye, I saw the boss run in the boys direction with a knife in his hand.

The horror was evident in my whole being, but that didn't stop me from moving forward and everything happened so fast that it made me go numb and left me shocked.
