☆Chapter 24☆

~Mark's Pov~

We had managed to break through the front gates with the minivan and were driving so fast,it was making me feel a bit nauseous.

None of us spoke about the speed limit, as we were all anxious and trying to get away from the cars that were following us.

It's been almost an hour that we've been driving and Jaebeom together with William were still unconscious.

I was sitting in the front seat of the car, next to Yasmin,as she kept her attention on the road.

I felt bad for having left Sabina and Annabelle at that place,but there wasn't much we could do,since the girls didn't have their powers at the moment.

As we were locked up in that place,we had learned that those people had created some type of shot, that could take away the girls powers temporarily.

I was furious when I heard that from William, because that meant that they couldn't protect themselves and I didn't want any of them to get hurt.

I was so lost in my own thoughts that when Yasmin took a sharp turn,I ended up hitting my head against the window.

"I said hold on!" Shouted Yasmin at me, without even turning her head to look at me.

"Sorry,I wasn't paying attention."I said, while giving her a small smile,as if to reassure her that I was fine.

"Now is not the time or place for you to not pay attention."Said Jackson in a scolding tone.

I turned myself around to look at them and see if they were all okay, only for Yoona to let out a gasp,while the others were looking at me with worry.

"What?" I asked, when none of them spoke to say something.

"Switch seats!" Said Yasmin in a voice that left no room for discussion.

"But-..." I started saying,only to get interrupted by the harsh tone of voice she used to talk to me, as she said:

"I said switch seats and that's final! Soso take Mark's place."

I sighed defeated and as I got up to switch seats with Soso,Yasmin grabbed my hand making me stop and I turned my head to look at her.

I stayed put for almost a minute, waiting for her to say something,but she never did.

I was about to remove my hand from her grasp,but in the moment that I tried to do that, she tightened her hold on my hand and turned her head to face me,then she pulled me towards her.

I was so shocked when she suddenly smashed her lips on mine for a few seconds, before she turned her attention towards the road again.

The action brought a smile to my face, while she blushed.

"Okay love birds,I think that's enough. Mark now would you please move?"
Said Soso in a teasing tone,but nonetheless I got out of the way.

Soso was about to pass me and take my seat,when Jinyoung got up from his seat and turned Soso to face him and then kissed her.
