☆Chapter 25☆

~Alex's Pov~

I was standing on the roof of the minivan when I heard Yasmin shout, giving me and Soso the signal to use our powers.

I created the exact replica image of the van we were driving,making it look like it was driving straight ahead.

In the meantime as soon as the mirage was created,Soso opened a big enough portal for the van to fit through it and we teleported in one of the many safe houses we had purchased under fake names.

As soon as we went through the portal, Yasmin parked the van in the garage and everyone got out of it, except for me.

I was still focused on the mirage I had created,so that it would give us more time to relax and get our powers back at 100%.

Now that we knew where our friends were being held at,there's nothing that would stop us from freeing them.

I was so lost in my own thoughts and at the same time so focused on the mirage, that I didn't hear Youngjae climb up the roof of the minivan and sit next to me,until he spoke:

"Why aren't you getting inside the house?"

I jumped a little startled by his voice and then I replied without opening my eyes:

"You guys are way too loud and I can't focus on the mirage I created when I'm surrounded by a lot of people."

"I understand."He said and stayed quiet, but he didn't attempt to get up and leave.

The safe house that Soso had chosen to teleport us too,was located in Alaska and it was really cold at this time of the year,so after not moving for quite some time my body started shivering from the cold.

Youngjae noticed this and he moved from his place next to me and then sat in front of me.

Suddenly he brought me into an unexpected hug,while wrapping me into the jacket he was wearing and wrapped his arms around my waist, keeping me closer to his body.

I gasped at the sudden action and for a brief moment,I opened my eyes and raised my head to look at him.

When I did that,I felt his lips on mine and I couldn't help but return the kiss.

The kiss was short,but it held and transmitted so much emotion that it overwhelmed me.

After we broke the kiss,we looked into each others eyes and then I buried my head into his chest,hiding my blushing cheeks away from his line of sight.

He chuckled at my embarrassed state and tightened his arms around me.

"You're so cute when you blush."He said,as he kissed the back of my neck, giving me pleasurable goosebumps.

I closed my eyes and focused on the mirage again.

~Youngjae's Pov~

I can't believe I finally kissed my mate.

I was feeling so happy despite the situation we were in.

After the kiss we had,I started feeling a little off.

I felt like I couldn't focus and like I had a fever, but I didn't say anything because I didn't want Alex to worry about me.

We stayed seated on top of the van, in each others arms,until we heard screams coming from inside the house.

In seconds,Alex let go of me and we both stood up looking at each other.

"What's going on?"I asked Alex, knowing that she had just mind linked one of the girls to learn what was happening.

"Mark,Jackson and Jinyoung are in pain, but they don't know why." Replied Alex,making me worry about my hyungs.

Alex was the first to get off the roof of the van and I was about to get down after her,when I suddenly groaned in pain.

Alex looked at me as if trying to see and find what was wrong, but I wasn't hurt.

Not on the outside,at least.

Suddenly I felt an excruciating pain coarse through my body that made me shout and fall to my knees.

"Youngjae,what's wrong?"She asked and I could hear the panic in her voice.

I tried to reply to her,but instead all that came out was an agonizing scream.

I tried to get up,but that was a big mistake,since I doubled over in pain and I fell off the roof of the van.

"Youngjae!!"Shouted Alex.

Luckily before I hit the ground, Yoona came out of the house and caught me  by using her Telekinetic power.

"I'll take him to your room."Said Yoona to Alex and I felt myself floating on air.

I would've enjoyed it, if I wasn't in so much pain.

After Yoona placed me in bed,I heard footsteps rushing towards the room I was in and minutes later I felt Alex approach me.

She took my hand in hers and sat down next to me on the bed.

"Youngjae,please tell me what hurts?" She pleaded.

"E-Everything..."I struggled saying and then I blacked out.
