☆Chapter 22☆

~Sabina's Pov~

"Say goodbye to your human Sabina, cause that's the last time you'll be seeing him."

Said the person I had learned to hate the most in a really short amount of time.

"What do you mean by that?"I asked acting dumb.

"I'm going to kill him and set you free from the hold he has on you sweetheart, so that we can be together forever." Answered Mike.

'That's not good.' I thought to myself.

When he took a step forward towards us, Jaebeom got up real quick and pushed Mike with such force that he ended up hitting the wall and creating a dent on it.

To say I was shocked is an understatement, but I was also proud and amazed at my mate.

"How the hell did you do that?!" Shouted Mike as he stood up recovering from the sudden push.

"I don't answer to you and you better learn to stay the hell away from My Mate." Said Jaebeom in a loud and commanding voice,that sent chills down my spine.

I was wondering how he did that too, but it didn't matter much as long as he was safe.

"Mike,why do you insist on being with me,when you know damn well that you have a mate out there,huh?"I asked, since I was getting sick and tired by his actions.

"You are my mate!"He said while using his powers.

He used the ropes I freed myself from to tie Jaebeom up and used his speed to reach to me.

He grabbed me by the hair and forced me to look at Jaebeom struggling to get free of the ropes.

Minutes later a few guards came and took a hold of him.

He had used the mind link to alert the guards to come and drag Jaebeom out.

I tried several times to use my powers, but to no avail.

'Damn these powers when I can't use them when needed!' I cursed silently on my mind.

Jaebeom tried to struggle against them, but being tied up  there wasn't much he could do and they started hitting him to stop him from moving.

"No!Stop!!Don't hurt him.I'll do anything you want,just please don't hurt him."I said,before they could close the door and before I never saw him again.

"Sabina don't-..." Jaebeom started to say, but was interrupted by a punch landing on his face by one of the people that was holding him,as I screamed his name,but wasn't able to go to him.

"You'll do anything?"Asked Mike with a wicked grin on his face that made my blood run cold.

Nevertheless I couldn't show any kind of weakness to these jerks,so I nodded my head as I looked at Jaebeom and tried hard to mind link him,but it wasn't working.

"Then marry me tonight at midnight." He said.

At those words I froze in place, meanwhile Jaebeom started struggling even more then before.

Mike released the hold he had on my hair and brought his hand on my cheek,caressing it gently.

His actions were making me feel nauseous.

I looked at him then at Jaebeom and at that moment I let a few tears escape my eyes as I mouthed: "I'm sorry!"

I turned towards Mike and replied:

"Fine.I accept,but only if you free Jaebeom, my friends,their mates and William."

"Deal!Get him and the others out and make sure they don't know where this place is located.Erase their memories." Mike ordered.

They were about to take Jaebeom outside of the room,when I spoke:

"Wait!Since this is the last time I'll be seeing him,could you please give us a few minutes.I'd like to say goodbye."

Mike looked a bit skeptical for a few seconds, but then he accepted.

Before they exited the room,Mike turned towards me and said:

"You have only 5 minutes."

I nodded my head and as soon as they closed the door,I rushed towards Jaebeom and freed him from the ropes.

"We don't have a lot of time.When they take you to the others,I need you to talk to William.From what I've heard, he's really powerful and he'll be able to help you guys get out of here safely." I whispered in one breath.

In the meantime that I was removing the ropes and speaking,Jaebeom kept watching me with sorrowful eyes.

"Why?" He suddenly whispered.

"Because I can't let you die." I whispered as well, knowing perfectly well to what he was referring too.

After I said that,he immediately wrapped his arms around my waist, hugging me tightly towards himself.

He gently kissed the crown of my head,as I whispered:

"I'll find a way out of this whole situation, but for now I need you and the others to be safe."

"I understand,even though I don't like the idea of leaving you here with that bastard." He said through clenched teeth.

"Don't worry,I won't let him come near me." I reassured Jaebeom.

"You better keep that promise. I love you!" He said smiling slightly.

I moved a bit away from him,to look at him and I whispered before kissing him: "I love you too!"

My action caught him by surprise and it took him a few seconds to respond to the kiss,but nevertheless he did.

Our moment was cut short when 2 guards opened the door and took him away.

After they left I felt a change in me,but I couldn't quite point out what it was.

I just hope whatever's happening will help me get out of here safe and sound.
