☆Chapter 20☆

~William's Pov~

When Annabelle told me about what she knew,I felt betrayed by my own mate.

After I left her house in a hurry, trying to get away from her,I went to my friends apartment.

They were all sitting at the dining table, when I rushed in from the balcony.

Since I caught them by surprise,they got up so fast from their seats to attack me,it was hilarious.

We all sat down and before I could get lost in my thoughts Yoona asked me with a voice full of hope.

"So William,how'd it go with Annabelle?"

I couldn't bring myself to tell them that she wasn't on our side, so I lied.

"I told you guys before,she's my mate. She'll help us." I said as I lied through my teeth.

"That's good to know." Said Jinyoung and by the tone in his voice I had a feeling he didn't believe what I just said,but he didn't question me either.

"Now tell us,what's the plan?How will we save her?"Asked Jaebeom.

I could sense he was tired,but he was more than willing to fight to get his mate back.

While thinking of a plan,I did the one thing I hadn't done when I first met Jaebeom...I took hold of his hand.

When I did that the others looked at me like I was crazy,but I didn't really pay attention to what was going on around me at the moment, instead I focused on the future I was seeing and I smiled saying:

"I'll help you save her."

I let go of his hand and then without saying another word I headed out to go and help Sabina escape.

I entered the building where she was being held captive, stole a few of their equipments and then I headed towards the basement.

Because I had seen the future, I knew exactly what was going to happen and how.

In the basement there were a total of 5 fortified rooms.

The first 4 rooms were empty and in the last room was where they held Sabina.

With my super speed,I entered and hid in each and every room,a few of the equipments I had stolen and then I entered Sabina's room.

I messed with the footage of the camera that was in her room,helped her get herself out of the restraining ropes and as we were about to get out of the building, Sabina suddenly stopped and said:

"Impossible!"

I was busy dealing with one of the guards,but when I turned my head and saw who was standing outside the exit door,I immediately rushed behind Sabina and knocked her out.

This was not a part of the future that I saw.

"What have you done to her?"I asked feeling my blood boil at the sight in front of me.

Annabelle was laying unconscious on her fathers arms.

"I'm just going to teach my daughter to choose better friends."said Luke with venom in his voice.

I growled loudly at what he said and as soon as I was about to take a step forward,one of the guards shot me from behind with a tranquilizer and I lost consciousness.

~A Few Days Later~

I have been locked up and tortured for a few days now and I was used to this kind of treatment,I'd be more worried if they acted nice.

As I was laying on the floor, bleeding from all the beating I'd received,I felt heavy footsteps outside the door of the room where I was locked and a moment later,the door opened reveling on the other side of it my mate's father,Luke.

I glared at him and for that I got punched in the face.

"You got a lot of guts claiming my daughter as your mate,Subject One." He said.

"I don't decide who my mate is,it just happens and you know that.You already know the whole story about mates."I growl at him.

"I do know.After all I was the one that got that information out of you." He said with an evil smirk on his face.

"How is she?" I asked with concern obvious on my voice and hopeful eyes that he'll at least give me this tiny piece of information about her.

"Sabina?She's fine.You have nothing to worry about her.She's actually in Mike's company right now.They make such a cute couple don't you agree?" Luke said refusing to give me the information I wanted to know about my mate.

"I don't think her mate would agree with you."I replied and we stayed in silence for a few minutes until I sighed heavily and then I asked:

"What exactly do you want from me?"

"I want the exact location of your friends." He said and I just looked at him without answering.

Suddenly the door opened again and there stood Annabelle.

I looked at her from head to toe taking her in and I was relieved to see she wasn't harmed in any way,but for some reason she wouldn't make eye contact with me and I realized why when she said:

"They found them."

After hearing that,her father got up,he injected me again with a tranquilizer and while he had his back against the door I heard Annabelle whisper:

'I'll get you out.Trust me.'

I lost consciousness again knowing that my mate was on my side.

When I woke up,I realized I wasn't alone in the room,my friends mates were here as well.

I waited for them to gain consciousness and when they woke up I said:

"Glad to see you guys are all in one piece."

They looked around the room for a bit, surprised to see me.

"Where are we?"Asked Mark.

"We're locked up in the basement where Sabina has been locked up for awhile now."I replied.

"You said you were going to get her out of here,what happened?"Asked Jaebeom,while trying to keep his cool.

"Let's just say that we were ambushed." I said not wanting to tell them what really happened.

When they were about to ask me again, the door opened and Mike came in asking:

"Which one of you bastards is Sabina's mate?"

We all looked at him for a few seconds and then Jaebeom stood up saying:

"I am.Where is she?I swear to god if you've hurt her,I'll kill you!"

Mike just laughed at what Jaebeom said and punched him,making him fly backwards and hit the wall behind him.

Jaebeom groaned in pain as he fell on the floor and then a few guards came in and took him away.

Before he was completely out of sight I mind linked him saying:

"In a bit you'll see your mate,don't do anything stupid that'll get you or her killed.Trust her.She's the key to their own destruction."

'And you're her main strength.' I thought to myself.

Mike looked at us for a while and then he headed towards the door.

"Enjoy your stay,cause you'll never see your friend or mates again boys." He said before he left and closed the door behind him.
