luke and i walked to the theater where they were having drama today, when drama started it was just talking about acting and a tiny bit of improv in the classroom. but today we are actually going to be given partners to work with to act out a scenes from romeo and juliet (ik they couldnt have picked a less cliche play) anyways i already knew i was going to be with luke, i mean he doesnt know anyone elses. After a boring introduction thing our drama teacher assigned each partnership a scene from the play. Luke and i got the death or romeo and juliet. We had two weeks to practice before each group would go infront of the school in order of when their scenes were and preform it. to be honest i was kind of scared i mean the death scene is so intense and has so much emotion and love in it. not to mention Luke will have to kiss me and matt will see... I know i dont even like matt but still it makes me nervous. i dont want to make him mad, hes strong and buff. he has a lot bigger biceps then luke does and i dont want luke to get beat up. anyways after drama the day kinda went by like a normal day. luke is a really nice guy, hes super funny and really easy to talk to we kind of just connected. I really wanted to talk to him about all time low but i know that would ruin me if he found out i wasnt the girly girl i was supposed to be. Luke told me that him Ashton, michael and calum were in a band and that luke sings and plays guitar (which automaticly makes him so much more attractive) im excited for when we have music tomorrow. i want to hear him sing. Luke and i were walking out of the school when matt came up to luke and just strait up punched him in the face, out of no where. Luke fell to the ground but instantly got back up, he didnt say anything nor did he fight back he just looked at matt. finally after what felt like an eternity of silence matt spoke up.
"so new kid, just what do you think your doing with my girlfriend?"
ya so remember earlier when i said matt was a sweet guy? well he is, unless you piss him off. then he goes all ape shit asshole on you, which is what he was doing to luke.
"she has been assigned as my tour guide, shes in all of my classes" luke replied calmly.
"ya well i dont want you to touch her! shes my property" matt spat at luke.
directly after matt said that luke grabbed him by the coller of his shirt and pushed him into a near by tree yelling in his face,
"SHE IS NOT YOUR PROPERTY SHE IS YOUR GIRLFRIEND! SHE IS A PERSON NOT A LANDSCAPE TREAT HER WITH SOME RESPECT ASSHOLE" thank god nobody was around to see that. matt gulped and looked down at the ground as he stuttered out,
"sorry i-it wont happen again. bye c-claire"
and with that he ran off. luke turned and faced me saying
"im sorry claire its just"
he paused
"i hate it when guys say that the own girls, they need to be treated with respect."
"well none the less thank you luke i owe you one" i said with a small laugh.
"but i have to get home now ill meet you at my locker first thing tomorrow okay?"
"okay." was all he said before giving me a half smile and turning and walking away fixing his grey beanie.
i mentally laughed at how we said 'okay? okay.' and that was hazel and augustes thing in the falut in our stars by john green.
i turned and faced the road, took a deep breath and prepared for the hell i was about to encounter called home. only for me it wasnt a home, it was a tourture house.
