The months had flown by, and here we are now in the middle of fall. The cafe has been particularly busy with the new fall drinks out, as well more college students coming in now that the school year has started. The leaves left their home on the trees, and now decorated the streets and sidewalks.
Luna stayed a bit later now, and worked on the weekends some weeks, helping out in any way she could. It was getting a bit colder outside now, so Luna could stop mocking Harry about his drink choice, because now it was "perfect hot chocolate weather."
"Ah, hello my love. One frozen lemonade." Harry smiled at Luna.
"You've gotta be fucking kidding me right?" Luna asked, arching her eyebrow.
"Only joking. I'll just have my usual." Harry smiled. Luna started getting to work on his order, then joining him at their back table.
"I hate PSL season." Luna groaned, resting her head on her hands.
"Uh, what is a PSL?" Harry asked.
"Really?! You don't know? With all of the twitter lingo you use, I would assume you would know." Luna laughed. "It's a pumpkin spice latte."
"Oh, so that's the smell that adorns your skin everyday. I like it." Harry smiled.
"Nothing is better than a combination than sweat, tears, and pumpkin spice." Luna joked.
"They should make it into a candle and sell it. I would buy it." Harry shrugged. "It would be called, 'Luna's suffering.'" Harry said playfully.
"We could be rolling in pumpkin spice money, my friend. The locals would love it." They both laughed at their conversations.
It came easy with them, talking. They had known each other for a short amount of time, but they had trusted each other so much. Everyday they spent together, every word spoken amongst each other, their feelings grew stronger and they fell deeper and deeper into each other.
"Halloween's in a couple of weeks. Wanna go trick or treating with me?" Harry teased, poking her side.
"We can pretend to be high schoolers and rome the town. A sack of candy in one hand, and a bottle of vodka in the other."
"Sold. We're doing it." Harry said.
Harry left shortly after their conversation and Luna returned back to the counter. At the end of her shift, she sat near the window, looking at the remaining leaves fall to the ground with the whisper of the wind. Harry would be coming in any minute now for their late night walk in the park. When he came, she smiled at him and headed out, yelling goodbye to Daisy who was working late.
They headed outside, the wind blowing the wisps of Luna's hair all over her face. The days were becoming shorter, the nighttime becoming quicker. The moon got a little brighter, and ever since their first night at the park, and every night since the reencounter of Stella, the stars got a little duller.
Along with the trees and the leaves, Luna was learning to let go. And she was realizing the beauty that occured when you started to let go. So they walked through the park, looking at the trees and the sky and how the sky matched the leaves under their feet. They walked through the park, and while they walked through the park they teased each other back and forth. As they walked through the park, every single person and every single problem in the world seemed to disappear, and it was just them.
It was just them.

Luna arrived home a little after dark, her nose and cheeks red from the wind that nipped at her skin. She went to her bedroom, pulled out her laptop, and layed on her bed. When they were walking, she suddenly got the burst of inspiration to write. Maybe she would sell it to make a bit of money, or maybe she would keep it to herself. And so she wrote:
