The five of them had made it back to the bar with a whole bag of candy. Max had ordered them a round of drinks for their table in the back and they were having a good time together. Luna's friends didn't really know much about Harry being that they never really hung out, but tonight was different. They were all getting a little tipsy except for Harry and Luna. They weren't big party goers, but who knew what the night would hold.
"Hmm, I dare you to get on the table and start dancing." Justine slurred talking to Daisy.
Daisy giggled and with a drink in her hand, she climbed up on the table and started dancing. Niall had gotten up too, throwing napkins at her pretending they were dollar bills. Like I said, they were all having a great time.
"Psst!" Harry whispered to Luna who was staring up looking at her friends on the table. "Wanna go dance." He wiggled his eyebrows at her. She nodded her head with a huge grin on her face and headed toward the dance floor.
"Heeey! Where are ya goin?" Justine whined.
"To dance."
"Watch out for Z-" Justine caught herself. "Watch out for zaddies."
"Um, okay?" Luna said giving Justine a weird look.
The two of them headed off onto the dance floor, but away from most people which were near the bathrooms. With the smoke machines on the floor and the orange and black strobe lights, it made for an amazing scene. The two danced and laughed and joked around. It was as if every single person in the bar disappeared and it was just the two of them. I think it was always like that when it was the two of them.
The music was still blasting but something had caused them to slow down. Nobody was in focus, the music had been muted by them and they were the only thing each other saw. Their eyes bore into one another and their heavy breaths were the only thing each other could hear along with the loud thump of their hearts.
"You look so beautiful, Luna."
"I told you I was going to take it up a notch with my appearance," Luna smirked.
"No, you look beautiful always. You always outdo yourself. I just feel like I could tell you this because of its Halloween, but I wish I could tell you this all the time."
Luna's smiled dropped in shock. Harry was growing nervous with her sudden silence. He breathed in deeply when Luna came closer to him, her face only inches away from her.
"And what do you wish you could do to me all the time?" She smirked in an innocent way.
Harry licked his lips, still nervous from Luna's actions. He was always nervous around her, but the way she was eying him and inching closer to her, he felt so small compared to her. But with a chance like this, a chance of being with her and showing her how much he loved her, he leaned in. He pinned her against the wall and kissed her.
The kiss, it can either be the kiss of life or the kiss of death, but this one...this one was the kiss of life.
It was as if Luna was reborn. Like all of the heartache had disappeared, like all the love in the world had been returned back to her. Like she never had her heart broken and like she had never been sad. She was alive.
And Harry was lit on fire. Like a jolt of electricity had spread through his body and had awakened all of his nerves all of his feelings. Bliss. Absolute bliss.
They had pulled away, both breathless from their encounter.
"Holy shit." Luna smiled looking up at Harry. "I liked that. I enjoyed kissing you." Her grin grew wider.
